welcome!.
when you roll off the lot in your brand new ss/sc, a big smile on your face, you check the mirrors and ahead to make sure no ones close, and punch it, youll hear that S/C howl and feel yourself get sat back in your seat hard......
i believe my words were "oooooo....what do we have here"
Have fun!. You wont regret your decision.

i got to drive a stage 3 srt-4 tonight. and wow.....
i dont know man, those noens are growing on me.... they are tough as nails.... and can reach 400 hp with just bolt ons. (no internal work)
ITLGO's silver neon ran 11.98 at race city tonight. Stock axles and clutch. These cars are tough.
Our cars however, cant throw on stage 2 without burning your clutch, cant throw on slicks or drag radials without snapping an axle. Cant push 20 psi of boost without blowing a head gasket. Cant advance timing without blowing your dipstick out and getting oil everywhere.
Guess my point is.... if you want a car to mod and have fun wth at the track and get really fast for cheap and still be reliable..... I would think of other cars other than the cobalt. But the cobalt is an awesome car stock for cruising around town in. Plus is looks better than a neon by far.

Don't buy a Neon Cody!! Get an Turbo 08 Cobalt!
anything interesting at Race city?
I totally agree about those SRT-4's... Two of the reasons that I did get the Redline is, there weren't any Cobalt SS/SC available at the time, and the SRT-4 was about $10,000 more than what I paid for my Redline.
That said, with a few thousand into the Redline, it'll be quick enough.
