I wouldn't risk it, as it stands now you pay the 15 over, get no demerits, or you go to court
get a 5 over and get 2 demerits, and an insurance rate increase, even if it was a 60, you will be asked who was driving, if you didn't already admit it was you when trying to prove its a 60, and if you say it wasnt you, then hes going to ask who it was exactly, and if you dont have a good answer for that then youll be in more ****, and blah blah blah, and trust me if you go to court for this, then you will probably get the 5 over fine, just because hell feel like his time was wasted, and that you were breaking the law anyways,

 

yea thats what i was wondering if i go to court and try to fight it, i can win that it still says 60 zone but then they would nail me for the 5 over and go on my record. It just pisses me off i got 2 of these stupid tickets in 1 month. First one wasnt even me that set the damn thing off. I know theres a camera there and i know it goes off if u r going like 2 over so i also go a few kph under the speed limit. But another came flying past me.

yea, if i had a scanner i would post the pictures. Only way i could prove it is that the roads were wet that day and you can see how the water shoots up from the rear tires, well the car that just passed me has a longer trail and the water spits higher, which means he was going faster.

 

Maybe you both got tickets, how much over was your ticket?

Off that topic, got a question for people. Is the person on the forums or does anyone know who owns the 06 black SS/SC at the Sherwood Nissan dealership? The car has Injen CAI, GMP Exhaust, Recardo Seats, B&M Short Shifter, Stock Rims that are painted black and they have lowering springs that are black. Question is, what type of springs are they? Car has just over 100,000km on it and they are asking just over $10k for it...not to shabby, even though something is wrong with...i think the downpipe.

 

Well the Z is being sold, picking up my 2005 SRT-10 Ram in a few days once they do some detailing and fixing a problem i found. Gives me time to put the Z back to stock.

 

lol speaking of being happy with a differen't ticket. got stopped last night, cop was with another guy giving him a ticket as i came ripping around a bend. was doing roughly 150km/h. pulled me over said i was lucky he didn't have the laser on me. estimated me at 115 and only gave me a ticket for my tint and it wasn't even a fix it ticket. the guy was pretty cool about everything. he was probably happy because i actually pulled over and didn't run from him.

 

something i noticed and i wonder how long it will take till i get pulled over for. My fender elimator kit puts my licence plate on my ZX6R on a angle, thus causing the photo camera's unable to take a picture of my plate number...lol

 

hmm i don't think most cops will pay attention to that. as long as the plate is visible to them they thats all they really care about.

 

yea its visable from ground level but from a traffic camera, no way in hell they are seeing that..lol

abit of both. I need something that gives me more room to carry my kit, people and my bike around. Also need something for the winter. So a truck is the answer. However im not a fan of trucks, hence why i went with the SRT-10 cuz i love that engine and it makes me love that truck..lol On a site note i got a good insurence quote. Was paying $5300 a year for the Z, ill be paying $2400 a year for the SRT-10. Also i just came back from calgary. Couldnt get my ticket 100% dismissed but i got it dropped from 4 points and $351(50 over) to 2 points and $177(30 over).

 

Did u get a good deal on the trade or is it just straight across. Where the hell did u get nailed for 50 over?

 

it was more then 50, long story short, i was being stupid got nailed just outside of calgary.

As for the trade in. they gave me $30,000 for the car, i owe $49k. By the end of the finance contract with the Z, i would have paid $73,000. By the end of the contract with the truck ill owe $51,000. Plus my insurence drops from $5300 a year to $2400.

I'll be picking the truck up thursday so jody, yes we will race on friday..lol

 

Hey I think that may have been me that you saw. I was at the track on May 15th, do you have a link to the video? I only remember one race against a mustang but it was a cobra that ran 11 or 12 something.
