Yea all I have to do is convince my girlfriend, I have a buddy with a civic that is done to the nuts who wants to go. How is the srt 10 I have been trying to find one on the street but they are all older and don't wanna race, Does it hook up at all or just spin?
mine hooks up but its a auto, even still, it hooks up well at the track, im launching at 3000rpm with no spin at all, people on the forums dont understand how im doing it, with their QC they spin at 2000rpm. There is a Black RC SRT-10 that is supercharged that i seen at castrol the last 2 times i went, he is pushing 600+hp and runs 13.8 cuz he spins like crazy. Take it from me, if you go, dont take your girlfriend...lol. Mine gets so bored and pissy every time she comes with me.
hey hill billy u should go to see what ur numbers are like i could get mid 13s if i could get any traction all i do is get bad wheel hop or spin so my best time was 14.09 i have yet to break the 13s i am for sure going to the track friday from open to close
im looking to get into the 13's as well, going to take EVERYTHING out/off the truck to drop the weight.
Edit: actualy, if i get off early on friday (like we do most of the time) then ill strip the truck. If i dont get off early then im bringing the ZX6R to the track.

I have an sv650s I would love to rip down the track, but it's been sitting in the shop waiting for a new engine all year. But u should try to get the truck out, I wanna see what that thing can do lol.
Yea the damn computers sure limit the vehicals these days it's pretty impressive what a tune can do these days. On the new cobalts we have a "learn down" feature, witch keeps us at the stock 260hp and 260tq despite how many bolt on you install. Plus a tune will let me touch the other 50 hp that the stock setup is holding back. But I can't really complain I also have stuff like "launch contol" and "no lift shifting" witch helps the turbo out quite a bit.
same with the truck. The RC have less safety features so the QC really get more out of the same tune because it disables more things. A guy with stock everything on his QC got 50hp and 89lb of torque out of a mild tune.
For sure we get about 50 hp with an agressive tune, most ppl go from 15psi to around 22psi. I'm not sure about tq, I will dyno mine when I get a tune on mine, it's hard to find someone who can do a trifecta tune in this area. I think I might have buy the damn cable and tune in myself.
where were you last night edmbaltss? Me and Hillbilly were both there. I brought my bike and cuz i havent raced it at all this year and my servo motor is gone, i got shitty times. With no servo motor my engine bogs down if im not staging at 12,000rpm. Man was it busy last night, i cant believe the CSRT-8 almost beat that cop car, that thing was insane!
i think 11's - 12's, cant remember. I need a new servo motor or aftermarket exhaust, either one will solve the issue im having. Normally with a 600 you rev to 8-9k and your good, i tried reving to 10,000rpms and the thing just bogged down, brought it to 12,000 and my tire spun like crazy, i lined up on the right grove but when i launched i went to the left one..lol
