Looks great!! I bet you are pretty excited and disappointed at the same time. You have the car but have to put it away all too soon.

I got taken to the cleaners. 30k.

That looks awesome kevin. That darkness will work. When can you start? how much?

******* snow, i just wanted to have one nice drive on dry roads. Brutal luck that i have.

Hey guys, what should I do for mods?

So far I got,

Paint headlights
Nightshade tails
Tint
H.i.d. (8000k?)
possible powdercoat rims??

Thats really all i got right now, not sure any performance mods on the market are worth the asking price right now.

Suggestions?

alright man i can start whenever you want ill be in town 2 weeks from now if you want me to start that early i can. as far as mods go, i would say get a tune. talk to clint eastwood and get the number for the tuner he was talking to. 2-300$ will get 290ish whp out of that car. well wroth your bills. also, i highly reccomend getting some sportlines. the car will looks and ride better, and since you dont winter drive it anyways it wont be an issue. maybe exhaust aswell?

I've already said it once, Synapse echoTechnik stage 3. $4000$ But you get 371whp/393wtq. I would start saving now, if I were you.

It might be better now. this morning wasn't as bad as last night but with your balding pirelli's, I am not too sure. Saturday is supposed to be above 0 and I am hoping that it dries out a bit.

mmm, ok. And now guess what. My new set of MKW M72s that i got, Bradleys ******* scratches 8 of the ten spokes, on one rim. Kids shouldn't be running the tire machine with some wheels worth money on it! &@$#! Those are the last set of M72s in machined and black face in 110x 5 18"s in Canada!

Anyway... Austyn, go with tint (definately), and powder coat the rims! What colour were you going to powder coat them? and tinting the tailights would be good. Are you going to paint the headlights black or IBM?

Yeah man, you can have them in two weeks and then if your done by march or so I'd be happy. Did you figure out the price? Are you doing the tails too?
I'll just put coilovers on it whenever i can afford it. No sense in replacing the struts and shocks every 40k or so.

Ha ha. Not a chance. My truck needs work first. Im going from 145 whp to 235, I'll be happy with the power for right now. If i got an extra 4 gs laying around, ill pay off sum of the car.

Id powder coat them black for sure. The headlights are black i believe? I dont know what ibm is or atleast i dont remember lol

Im just going to do a few little exterior things right now. I dont think theres anything that great out there for the ss/tc (minus that stage 3) thats really worth the money at this moment, but thats just my opinion.

i got a quote to powder quote my rims awhile back, every place in the city is roughly $600.also, ive heard of people having sporlines for the life of the car. struts arent a big deal when your car is already gonna ride rough because of the springs. $200 compared to $1200 i just couldnt justify an extra $1000

IBM = Imperial Blue Metallic. just fyi.

Black 07SS, that $600 to powdercoat rims, is that just a full powdercoat, or can you just shoot certain areas (ie: i'd like to powdercoat my M72s between the spokes LBM...) or one price for w/e you want?
Or do you have the number so i could call/lookup to find out?

Well boys, got her permitted this evening. Took her and put some gas in it. Re-visited some memorable spots we had created over the past 8 months. The tach never dropped under 4k. It was a good, good-bye.

Note: I would not want to drive all winter on the stock pirrellis, terrible on ice.

Yea, say what?! And don't you mean you didn't go above 4000? I mean, everybody has different break in procedures (if they're picky, new cars don't really need them), but i wouldn't have gone above 5000 for the first 800kms. But it is your car.

Anyway, i got my new winter tires on my Caprice! They look great! https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/pictures-videos-64/my-new-winter-tires-woot-143644/

its ******* beautiful, inside and out. Its ******* fast and draws attention.

Lastly, i have no idea how to drive this car ha ha. The clutch is so stiff, the shifter is way different in a goodway but i got to get used to it.

Thers a break in procedure? oh **** ha ha, hope i followed it.
