uhh it takes you all of half an hour to do it in a garage...on a driveway...on the street...

you can get a full synthetic oil change at lube city or whatever for like 60 bucks

I get mine changed for 15 bucks at the dealer... i buy my own oil and they just change it for me... works out pretty good since they charge through the nose for Mobil 1 at the dealer.

I love the oil filter placement... makes the job much cleaner. When I take the filter off my Venture it looks like the Exon Valdez all over again haha.

The oil filter placement is ok, although it is kinda a pain to get to with the supercharger.

Getting the oil changed in it tomorrow and then putting her to bed for the winter. *sniff*

Unless cobalts become some rare collector car mine will never go away. And we all know that won't happen anytime soon, they will just depreciate like none other while they sit in your garages.

I would rather not have to worry about all the stone chips and salt damage I would get in the winter. It doesn't really bother me about the depreciation thing since I will most likely be having this for a while. I have a winter car to drive and it is cheaper for insurance so I save money there. Everyones situation is different though.

Definately. I'm not one of those people that trades my car in every five years or whatever. Usually when i buy something, i keep it till it dies. And my Cobalt in storage is much cheaper then driving it around and having somebody run into it. So it doesn't hurt my feelings too much.

heck, dad still has his 86 Caprice Classic he got new in 86! It still looks great for being 22 years old!

Thats understandable, I but I'm 17 and on my 3rd car, and honestly can't see me keeping it that long. A winter beater is neither affordable or needed for me at this point in time.

On another note, I saw SkCobalt just givin her ***** on the ring road about 30 mins ago. haha

Well, we have our first real snow of the season. About 3-4 cm. Just enough to cover the grass and pavement.
