looks like points race #8 is on saturday (on sir site), but points race cost is 30 bucks for street legal... kinda confused since it says alcohol cars feature in the schedule. Does that mean its just alcohol cars or is it all classes?

 

I saw in the "poster" on the main page that Street Legal cars are allowed.

 

The points race is Saturday in the day. It's $50 to enter as a sport compact... and I believe $30 to race as a street legal (if they still do that).
It's brackets, so you only get 2 qualifying runs, and then it's eliminations.
The funny cars are generally in the evening.

Well.. Raptors67, Rippin07, and myself all do HPtuning for the 2.0L SC and 2.4L motors.

However, you guys are in Regina... you have one of Canada's best tuners right in the city. His name is Russ K on the HPT forums. You've probably seen him around Regina in a white C5 Z06.

You might want to talk to him before you go Stage II, unless you are keeping the "factory warranty" deal-eo going on, with the Stage II install documented and such.

 

yeah... trying to keep warranty... but can you not load the stock tune without GM noticing if anything happens?

Not bad. It's not really car specific... and is more of a local scene kind of thing. It's a good place to get to know people though.

yeah i got projectors with hids but im just looking to change up my set up. How much would it cost me to get my stockers painted

 

wanna trade up maybe? mine are mint and as you know ive been looking for projectors for quite awhile

 

i'd be willing to do some tuning. I don't know if Russ K will do a cobalt or not, I don't see why not though. You can do stage 2 without having the delearship install it, if they ever asked tell em you had it done in Saskatoon. They won't care if you use all the stage 2 parts but keep in mind you'll need the right puller to swap to the stage 2 hub assembly on which i just happen to have
