Petro gas card problems
So the other night i went to fuel up. Saw that the price was something like 1.17/L for 91 octane(i believe). I put in my petro card, then i put in my gas card, then i put in my visa. So i started pumping thinking "feckin awesome, 20 cents off from petro gas discount card and 3.5 cents off for petro card." and i know that the 20 cents isnt visibly taken off but the 3.5 is.
So then i finish pumping and think "god damn 40 bucks is a lot for gas that should have been 97 cents..." (and that didnt even give me a full tank!)
So i did the math when the receipt printed out and wtf. sure enough only the 3.5 cents was applied.
Does anybody know why this might be? Coupled it with petro card? Paid with visa? etc?
It happened twice now im just getting pissed.

You have to look real hard at the recipt, it will show the price without the 20cents off at the bottom and somewhere in the middle of all the number it says the price taken from the Credit card. It confused the hell outa me at first as well.

I think from now on im going to be going inside and see if that works.
edit: just checked my visa and it says i paid 33.19. Guess it does work

yeah its an odd method, i would have like it better if it took the price off at the pump so i could put the savings into the tank. Very dumb way to print a recipt as well.
