bah.

((car*X)paint^colour ≠ (car*X)paint^colour) = retarded...

(sticker^colour = hp gain) = even more retarded...

(vinyl^colour = hp gain) = just as retarded as the last...

the fact that we can joke about colour crap affecting how fast a car is means that someone somewhere actually believes that there is some way of it actually holding to logic...
that my friend IS very laughable.

P.S.

Burnt Orange < Rally Yellow

It might get a little hairy if I have to log everyone while we're there, but I'll try my best. You will need an extension run off one of the connections to your wideband, as it needs to plug into my interface. I forget which one it is, but most of 'em have one power, one ground, and two other wires that can be used for dataloggers.

As far as "grabbing a tune" its not quite that simple. We'll need some time to data log on the street or dyno, and fine tune everything.

o haha i know its not that easy. but i was just saying i would have to come back the week after or whatever for it cus i know u wouldnt be able to do it right then and there.

what type of end do you need on the cable to get a reading. just bare wire or do u need some sort of connector crimped on the end of it?

This would be my first time there, but from what i have bin told is the sub and box is ok if it is bolted to the chasy in some way.

If it is like me i have my box mounted to my trunk liner or if its just hanging out it needs to be pulled.

You could always try but it would suck if they made you pull it at the track and just leave it in the parking lot.

hey jonathan what you mean????? that it is not true that paint gives you more hp.... now i am confused all this time i have been in the industry and i always thought that hp was all about color.... maybe i should lay off that smoke jon was talking about... LMAO!!!! your all dreaming man orange is by far the best color lol. the only thing holding my theory back is the lack of mass produced orange cobalt owners.... as i see it we have the fewest numbers out of all of us. but yet we stand proud. knowing all of you wishes you had a orange one too!!!!! on a side note if i fart in the gas tank does that mean i have nitrous?????

ps. if anyone thinks i am serious about the hp gains and color.... hahahahahaa i would say the real joke is on you!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say bro, oil changes, car wash's, interior detailing, and repaired/replaced parts all make my ride faster. In fact i point it out to my passangers constantly.
Oh led taillights, faster, projectors with halos, faster bahaha im like rockin a 2sec car with all the wax. Bhahaha more bass? faster!!!!

also theres a reason its called "victoryred" haha because it wins over all the colors.

I wanna make it but i workuntil like 1130pm so i may need to be "sick" lol
dont think i can run the track though, my sub box is not mounted to the chasis.
If i am" sick" lol then i figure i will make it down fairly early like 8 or somthing like that.

how late racing goes, depends on the number of cars;
but saying roughly 12am, is close enough...

tech is supposed to go till 9-9:30, but if it slows to a halt way earlier, the tech guys might put everything away/leave before 9pm.

anyone want ot help m fab/weld up my exhaust?

I do have one section of flex pipe I'm installing (this time) immediately after the header - hopefully it will prevent me from having the exhaust rip itself apart!

I got raped on having this exhaust done before - so I'm not about to go to another exhaust shop just to be raped again...

making it it of madrel bent pipe - something that no shop in town can do anyway...

good question!!

apparently consessions are not sold there anymore, so everyone is probably going to need to grab supper before heading there...
(If I'm wrong, please correct me!!)

I say, show up when you can show up - then if you get through tech before racing starts we meet up in the parking lot - it's not like finding the other cobalts should be too tough - I rarely see them there these days...

I'll probably show up around 6:30 (assuming i can get this exhaust done in time!!)
I've decided that I am not going to be able to bring my 'other' car to race...

yeah odds are even if we showed up all together we would all be waiting for tech seperately for 30minutes or more...
