if you want something kinda quick, I like Fatburger - it's in Deerfoot meadows - I think it's one of only two Canadiain franchises;
other than that there's:
Boston Pizza, subway, mcdonalds, tacobell/kfc in Riverbend;
Dairy Queen on glenmore (just west of barlow);
Dairy Queen, mcdonalds, subway in Douglas Glen;
back to Deerfoot meadows there's also Taco time, dairy queen, mcdonalds and three or four asian places;
and a whole butt-load of stuff (including a great Earls) off 130th & deerfoot (on the east side of deerfoot)

I'm not much for foreign cuisine - mostly fast food, or good sit down steak/burger type restaurants ~ sorry.

that specific earls is my favorite restaurant in town - even better steaks (imho) than more expensive steak joints...

but eye candy (and I'm not talking the exploited hooter type) is always good!

I wanna make it but i workuntil like 1130pm so i may need to be "sick" lol
dont think i can run the track though, my sub box is not mounted to the chasis.
If i am" sick" lol then i figure i will make it down fairly early like 8 or somthing like that.
just take your sub box out. If you cant and it looks secure they dont check that closely, mostly visual

you pay at the gates, before inspection. Its only 15-20 lost if you dont make it through inspection as a spectator is 5 or 10

imma buy some mounts and mount the box to the liner . box is 90% same width as trunk. I hope that does the trick!

what type of end do you need on the cable to get a reading. just bare wire or do u need some sort of connector crimped on the end of it?
It's a single wire run off whatever + 5 output wire comes outta the gauge. It runs into one pin on the EIO Plug to read afr/afr error

I think Ima plan to be down there right after work, 5-5:30. John (JD) is plannin to run on a freshly cleaned up tune, and he likes to get there super early to get more runs in.

I think Teej would come down to blow all of you away, but his stock clutch is going, and he's gone camping that weekend...

unless they know you and your car, don't count on it - they actually are supposed to get certified (for insurance purposes) to be inspectors;
and although one guy who could be a real ***** is apparently no longer doing tech, still expect to get called on it if your sub isn't bolted down.

and once again, spectators are $5 for Secret Street @ Race City;
Castrol charges $10 for spectators.

im just speaking from experience from the 4 times i went late last year, havent had a chance to drag at race city this year. It was pretty visual every time. I always took my subs out though. I got teched harder 3 weeks ago at a local race back in hanna for 8th mile bracket racing.

I really need to meet up with an LNF car & owner;
I'm pretty certain I've bitten off more than I can chew with this exhaust, but am now leaning towards just being 'mosquito bait'...

:fail:

have you not been paying attention??

I've pulled apart the grand-dam's exhaust...

you know, I haven't yet hit hte point of no return... hmm, maybe I could still;
  • reinstall the rear section of exhaust
  • repair the main pipe, add the section of flex pipe
  • figure out which was going, and swap CV(s)

hmm....
