I sold my winter rubber and rims so I made a lot of money there to mod my baby. So when I pull it out it should have some good work done on it, be afraid!!! just kidding but i am goign to sink some more coin it to her

make sure to put a cover on it. If it gets dusty then gets moist out it really sucks to wash after its sat on there for 6 months.

sweet deal man. Yeah like dom said use stabilizer and run it every 2-4 weeks. Wouldnt hurt to take it for a drive on a nice dry and dusty day too.

TVS would be sweet, but I priced it out once and if you want like 350-400 whp (like they say you can get) safely, then it would end up costing like 6000 - 8000 dollars. Thats including the blower, tuning, and supporting mods.

Yeh i dont know like in order support a TVS blower there is alot of supoporting mods and im sure stock internals are not going to hold up for long haha. So really im not too sure where to go from here. Figure it out over the winter i guess.

Methanol Injection is not the best thing for Roots Supercharged cars unless you spray after the blower. They are more suited for Centrifugal Blowers or Turbo Cars.

It will eventually eat away at the coating on your rotors. You are better off spraying a small shot of nitrous.

Im not denying that it doesnt work. Ive just heard it works better on Centrifugal Superchargers (Procharger, Vortech, Paxton) and Turbo Cars.

Think about it for a second. You buy good gasoline (Shell, Esso, etc) that has all the additives to keep water from forming and going into your engine.

Now you add a Methanol Kit and are spraying a 50/50 mix into your engine...50% water. I dont get why anyone would want to spray a water mix into their cars. I know some Terminator guys in the states have had success with it, but their gains have been after they modified their lower intake to spray into the intercooler.

Couple guys said it can burn up intake/exhaust valves quicker, others have said Methanol is not safe for aluminum, and the afore mentioned coating on the rotors. Also, you run the chance of having a faulty pump, or running out of fluid.

In my eyes, its not worth it for me to spend the $500 on maybe 20hp? You guys are better off sending your Supercharger to Bob Stiegemeier to have it ported. You will see lower intake air temps and more efficient boost.

i wont be using the meth injection for HP gains, instead as a combustion cooling agent. the mazda direct injection engines are also remarkably dirty in their cylinder heads, and meth injection has a side effect of keeping your valves nice and clean. i can see the ss/tc guys running into the same problems mazda's are right now. once you get to a certain mod level, you get uneven piston heating/cooling that can seize the wrist pin in the rod/piston. so far our best way to avoid this is meth/water injection. it doesnt seem like a bad idea for anyone else though right? just a royal pain in the ass for you supercharged guys.

methanol will actually prevent corrosion from forming on aluminium parts. your coating on the rotors however, i'm not sure. so long as you don't cheap on your injection controller, and your not tuned to run methanol full time, a bad pump or low level shutdown isnt an issue(unless your WOT 4th gear on the strip. then you might be in trouble)
