It's a waste of $10 to go wash it right now! I just washed mine at work (for free, like usual) and it's already dirty. It's highway driving that really does it in.

 

Yeh... just spend 2 or 4 bucks to rinse it off through out the winter... **** i dont even spend 10 bucks in the summer washing it!

Ya ya ya I know. It's been too damn cold to wash it and now that I don't have a garage it just freezes solid. I'll try and wash it soon your majesty :-P

 

Mine was clean.. until today. Both sides of my car are now white thanks to warmer temps.

 

the amount of salt they use in red deer is insane. guaranteed to rust if you let that **** sit on your car. anybody know of a car wash with a good undercarriage wash? thats the only part i wish i could do better at my shop.

 

I do wash it all the time, it just gets dirty so damn fast cause I drive on the highway every day.

You're right though, they use way too much salt.

 

Well after this snow we got today, it's now turned to a nice thick layer of ice on hwy 13 east of wetaskiwin (I commute 15 mins on it every day twice), they could use MORE salt!

other than my master cylinder going on my clutch the first Month I had it, yeah it's been really good for me.

Unfortunately this year I won't be doing anything to the car as I'm building a garage this summer!

 

Haha well i guess you could consider building a garge soemthing for you car and somethign for you house so you are killing two bird with one stone. I have a few things planned to have done for the spring before I bring it out

One more thing, does anyone know if GM is going to continue the same look/styling for next yrs Cobalt?My lease is comming up in October and well.. I'd still like to keep the old girl but she's going to need some heavy cash to make her better..

Paint is fine. A few chips in the hood and bumper. Nothing that I'm gonna lose sleep over, it is my daily driver after all.

 

Yeh thats true Rob. I have a perfect bumper thanks to a taxi driver if you remember the story, but my hood has a few chips in it that i dont really like. Ernie I am driving 93 topaz. It isnt a bad car but man am I ever going to be happy when I get my baby back. I have some sweet **** planned for the Spring haha, Hope you there for the first Friday night cruise!!! Also my car is parked in a secret location top top secret haha!

 

any hints there jordan as to what you plans are for the new year. I wish i could do a little more to my car too but I have some other plans in the works for the year that hopefully wont cost me as much and has nothing to do with cars haha.

oh and i forgot to mention but this is for ernie, the cobalt models will be discontinued in the coming years i do believe they are changing them up a fair bit. I dont like the new car they are going with insted of the cobalt I think it looks like ****. if you do a little searchin around you can find some pictures and info about the new car they are replacing it with

 

Ok get this and wtf? I just saw on Saturday afternoon a red RX 7, highly modded with a big black wing on the back, maybe red/black wheels as well but def summers.. Thats asking for warmer weather if I ever saw it ..

Haha min.... you know me and it's a secret until spring, but i'm doing some substancial work to it as long as all the parts get here. I think I am going to start ording the parts next week cause some of them have aback order of 1-2months. BTW does anyone need soem parts from GM...? I have a GC from weidners in lacombe for $250.
