Drive the same last 2 yrs. Just sometimes now at a dead stop it won't go into 1st or reverse. Started about a month ago. I know all the tricks of gettingh a fuct tranny to work it's just annoying. Just last week the clutch master went in my 69 corona wilst on warman road. Really got to test the synchros on that tranny.

I had the retainer springs added to my trans. in my 04 redline and it stopped this issue.... I'm not sure if that's a TSB anymore? It was a TSB for gears chattering at low speed.

[QUOTE=raptors_67;3158161]It's the 1st gear synchro's not completely lining up... usually happens when coming to a complete stop and trying to place the trans back into first. Both my redlines have done this. If you let the clutch all the way out and depress it again it will go into gear.
would this be covered underwarrenty or can they not fix it?

You can have them add the retainers under warranty, I complained of gears chattering at low speeds. The only problem with this is there's a pretty good chance you'll have more problems after they put it back together than what you started with. That's my experience with the techs in Saskatoon anyways.

Wow, i've tried pulling every string possible with working at the dealership before and they've done everything they've could. Only problem is the District manager who has her heart set on ****** up my day for the last 5 weeks and counting. Need to get Wayne Brady to come and choke a b****!
