I decided to run her threw the winter and get her all fixed up in spring and then get the tape put on. ITs gunna cost me aobut 2k in spring though i may have to put off some performance mods.

Spotted: Red SS/SC (i think it had a black bowtie on the back - not sure) you were a car infront of me this morning on Crowchild - looked stock but wasnt sure - you were about to turn off at the university then changed you mind (along with the VW behind you) and continued along. I tried to honk but I doubt you noticed.

Either way thought I'd bump this thread as well :P

PS: Regularly see a Orange SS/SC at Brentwood LRT Station in the parking lot in the mornings when I park there... not sure if your on here but if so thought I'd say hello.

hey blkcobalt congrats on getting your cobalt and there are tons of people who have done the pulley's and flashes not myself as i have the 2.4 but a large amount of people have gone to shaganappi as there are about 5 of us that work there lol. and as far as warranty goes stage 2 from what i've scene won't void it but rather the way you drive the car with stage 2 that will possibly void it such as snapping your axle trying to race somebody - can you say WARRANTY DENIED lol. anyways what color are you getting and welcome to the site.

ya should have caught that one my bad. and ya like i said the stage 2 doesn't void anything that im aware of but i know that if you get it done at a place other then a gm certified shop then the warranty would be void.

Yes the only GM mods that are not supported as far as I know are the ones labled "Off road use only", ie: gm stage 3. Any other mods as long as the dealership will install them will be valid. outtamymind do you know if a dealership will install the stage 2 axles if not will the warenty still be valid on the things other then the axles themselves? I know if the stage 2 axles break any damage they cause to other parts of the car will not be covered.

It's not that bad threw the dealership, your looking at about 2 to 3 hours work at 100 bucks an hour, if you goto the right one they can do it in an hour and a half.

Thanks bro! I was just getting the car programmed for the ipod data link module that is in my car now. I have to say it works pretty good. And your shop foreman, Keith I believe, is a great guy and sure does take care of the customers at Shaganappi. GSL on the other hand...their service department is filled with a bunch of tools.
