i want to do this on my stock wheels but im afraid i'll screw them up lol

 

its not that hard. know basic painting and your good.

 

what kind of paint are you using? and i need to fill in some scratches so what could i use?

 

sand the scratches out. then prime the area if you took it to bare metal, with an eaching primer. then you can paint, I used duplicolour mag wheel paint, then clear coat on top.

also depends on how deep the scratches are.

I have tomorrow off so I will try to get my other 2 mags at least all primed and if possible my first coat of black, I would like to have them done by the end of the weekend. and still have a 24 hour cure time before rubber is installed.

im not sure yet.... black for sure, and either do the arrowhead in black or leave it red, I think I might make it all black and then all you will see is an outline

 

You ought to do it black, then just take a fine model paintbrush, and do the red outline on it! That would look great, just a sweet red outline...

 

hmmm... good idea. that would look nice. I will try it, im gonna paint them totaly then outline the clear and see how they look. I could get overlays for them...
