Wheel well neons = blue and red in my rearview!! haha

So had a nice cruise lastnight comin home from takin my boy (3yo) and my niece to galaxy land. saw a silver ss/na who for some reason wouldnt look over at me at 2 sets of lights in a row. and then gunned it on the second set. meh

anyways, im pullin into devon, and i had the wheel well blue neon on, im about 30 seconds from home and i see a cop car comin the other way......

heres where i made my mistake. i grabbed to shut off the neon before he got close, and i missed, and ended up shutting them off right as he passed me, which in the end probably was what made him whip around and throw on his lights

*SIGHHHH*

so i pull over, (whip down my tinted side windows ASAP HAHA!), shut the car down and grab the wheel at 10 and 2 and play mr niceguy with the cop.

Yes sir no sir, check out the cute 3 year old sleeping in the back, and the adress on my license sir.

Im literally stopped 100 feet from my garage door.

he comes back after runnin a check and gives me the santaclause "warnings this time" speech hehe

thought id post it as its the first time in my entire life ive actually been pulled over, including 8 years riding Streetbikes.

he broke your cherry? when i was 19, i owned a supra, and a honda 1000 interceptor.
the cops knew me by name, description, residence, etc. i had to leave lethbridge. many, many, many tickets ( the worst was getting caught at 253 kph). for myself, youth and wheels brought me many negative experiences with the local and national cops. now, I'm a old guy who doesn't get a second look. 4 tickets in 10 yrs. none in over 4. (knock on wood).

I saw a car the other day with wheel well neons looked pretty good do you have any pics of the cobalt with them. I actually kinda liked it it was a modest eye catcher. and maybe it would help other cars from trying to run me over

yeah its definately an eye catcher and its a bit more subtle and unique than the typical underbody.

I had trouble with my phonecam getting pics (to dark or to light) so im gonna get the good digital out and grab a few and post them later tonight

yeah those look pretty good for neon lights.... I may just have to thin about it but there aren't too many colors that go with yellow and it's not like my car needs any more attention than it already gets.
