17" tire options in Atlantic Canada

Hey,
06 Cobalt SS 2.4
Just wondering if anyone has had good look with locating 17" tires thru Canadian Tire or other Atlantic Canadian dealers. My stocks are worn out at 29,000kms and the winters are soon to come off.
I'd like to find something that will last longer although I realize I will lose some degree of performance with that. Then again I don't race etc so I don't need a true high performance tire. Reasonably priced (under 700 for 4) with a higher mileage expectancy that those crappy Pirrelli's would be nice.
Any help is appreciated!

This will be my second year for them. Only $100 a tire. Nice and sticky tire

What the heck is "Tires for Life?"
Is it some promotion where the dealer is supplying new tires as long as you own the vehicle?
Sounds cool if it is...although I can just imagine what my Stealership would install and how much hassle I'd have convincing them it's time for replacements. I'd probably end up with rubber bands stretched around the rims.

So I've located a couple of options.
Hankook H405 215/45/17 approx 150 per tire

Hankook Ventus Sport 205/50/17 approx 170 per tire

Anybody out there using either?
