nice car dude

Don't think you can get 400 on k04. unless you are boosting to 25 psi and meth, but im not 100% on that.

a S256/259 would get you there, but you'll lose that sweet small turbo low end TQ.

I'd first decide on what your max budget will be, and then decide whether you want to keep stock k04 or re-do the whoel turbo build

ZZP offers a turbo upgrade kit for about $4000 that will get you to close to 400

welcome back

Go with the WR-2, WR-3 or the ZFR. They will get you to your goal and are direct bolt on replacement turbos..

To get to even around 400 you are going to be stressing the turbo out too the max...you would have to be super aggressive and you really don't want that for the motors sake...

Best but would be to upgrade turbo and be on something that could get you to your goal without having to be aggressive..

Boltons are considered a build? 400 won't happen on the stock turbo. FBOs and e85 or meth will net about 350-360 depending on altitude.

friend of mine dyno'd 409 stock turbo... second highest dyno numbers for the k04 at the time.

I'd like to see that graph. I dont see how this person managed ~40whp above what most make running FBOs and e85. 30 spike at 3k rpms could maybe pull that off. Power curves must have been horrid.

Refer to the dyno thread for realistic numbers.

with full bolt ons and a good tune that should be easy for you to do.

my friend has full bolt ons from TurboXS as well. turboxs intake, exhaust catless DP, everything.. and he dyno'd 330whp and 360wtq.

hptuned by css3 at 22psi

yeah depending on the tune and your fuel you can get as high as 380whp with stock turbo...
