2014 Spotted Thread: Maritime Edition

Well it's 2014. And the 2013 thread is out of date. So I thought I would start a new 2014 thread. Even though we are three months into the year already.

However , on my way to work this morning I past an 05-06 SS/SC . Sunburst orange. It was in pretty bad shape. It had a fair amount of rust along the bottom of the doors and the rear quarters. But the woman driving it looked , well , REALLY nice !

Negative. If I went that route I'd end up tearing off my exhaust, it scrapes now on the account of it hanging low.

I decided since my insurance is $400 a month on barebones coverage (OFF ONE TICKET MIND YOU) a ss isn't the best idea right now. With paying for school and all.

I've slowly pieced together a full ss kit, lnf grille and some fogs, teal dip for wheels and just picked up the white dip for the whole car once it's all together.

All I need now is clips for the rear lip and to take off the side moulding, oh and remove spoiler.

Fake SS with 130whp here we go. I'll have to stop running against Hondas now so they don't think they're keeping up with a ss haha

Right on man- just looked that way by your siggy

Don't think I'll be doing too much more to the Balt this season honestly. A few things though:
Powell XXX Rear Bar
New set of wheels, thinking Enkei M52s - (my TC wheels leak air...)
Paint the brembos.

I'm really hoping to make it a two car scenario in the not so distant future.

I want an R34 GTR really, but since they are new to Canada prices on them are a bit outrageous.

Spotted a black ss/tc yesterday on the old Sackville cross road. It didn't have a plate on it yet and sounded like it had a kn sri from the sound when he shifted. Anyone one here ?

oh nice! they hit the 15 year mark! i allways wanted to import one as well. but i figured any r34s that made it over here would be used and abused, and would need some immediate $$$ dumped into it/importing parts from japan etc. plus it just screams to be stolen :P

and.... hi again everyone!

and Canadia don't worry about 130whp, my car only has 135! and everyone knows one's car's horsepower is directly proportional to the length of their *****!

Haha yeah after much research I've come to determine that R34s are a bit too expensive and I've decided on a Supra RZ instead. Finding a clean one around here for a proper price is next to impossible though so I still might be importing- not likely until next summer though.

Yeah I check kijiji- but honestly you can get them a bit cheaper if you look at the auctions yourself... they aren't that hard once you get the hang of it. Pretty sure places like Carson don't allow test drives anyway- which is totally ridiculous when buying a car.

Anyone know this car? It has a CSS.net sticker on window

http://moncton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ578793125

Going up with a friend this week, he wants it real bad, he beat him down to 5700 with extra set of
Tires and few other goodies, seems like a good deal. In person it might be a different story

Looks decently clean in the pictures, for 5700 with tires and those KMs- can't really get any better than that! Even comes with good mods too (although those headlights could probably stay home).

The owner of the car is a member on the board here. And he use to post nearly every other day a year or so ago. Honestly I forget his username. But I know its him/and his car for sure. For that price. I would buy the car for sure. He took good car of the car.

He replaced the door for me. Just the little bit on the fender. I'm not to worried about that.

ya fender is doable for sure. although if you're not a great body man i'd take it to a shop or find someone who can do a good job so you don't have to worry about it again later

I would too, also that way if it comes back a good shop should be responsible for that.

Replacing the whole door was cheaper than getting an auto body shop to fix the rust spots. Junk yard I went to had 4 or 5 black 2doors that I could choose from. Just took the best looking one and replaced the trim with mine (since the door I picked up was from an SS NA).

Nobody2u - yeah I know the headlights aren't the best looking, but they work great for projectors.
