So many mods mate,
Stage 3 Pulleys (ZZP)
Ceramic coated header
Coil over and springs
Typhoon Air Intake
Slotted rotors
Red EBC pads
New heat air exchanger
Better radiator for the SC
Straight Pipe
Stage 3 Bulley Clutch
Hurst Shifter and Down Stick
HP Tune
And a few other little treats. I just removed all the interior and have better track tiers on
the way. A real fun track toy for sure.

Absolutely. It's one thing to be brand loyal, another to not show respect for a good car, either from the factory or built. I make it no secret that I stick to domestics when it comes to buying but I give credit where it's due.
I agree, fox body Mustangs sound great with a good exhaust. There's a guy in our neighbourhood with a late model fox body. It's very clean and sounds awesome. I'm not a huge fan of the looks. They're far from ugly IMO but they aren't good looking. They just look like another car from the 80's to me.
Yea, I wouldn't be surprised. My best of the day was 1:23.2 and it took me a few laps to catch up to you so I would imagine you're probably high 1:23's or low 1:24's in traffic. I would love to see what a well driven Cobalt does with a few clean laps. If I see you again at the track, I'll time you on my stop watch and hopefully get a clean lap.
Sounds like it's working well, nice work. I wish I had the Cobalt still to work on it along with the Boss. Have you bought track tires? If so, what brand are you going with?

Low 1:20's

Don't worry I'm putting it to great use
Freight trained a RX7 from a 80 roll on way home tonight. Got into town "that thing is fast as ****!! Good ****"
Funny seeing the different attitudes from car people. I surprised myself, that 13b wasn't stock I can tell you that, massive exhaust shooting flames off the lights lol.

I met a blue 2.0T genesis coupe with bluish headlights and fogs this morning on the 101. he went by me and gave it a blow off. He then downshifted and tried to take off on me. I followed suit and in both 3rd and 4th gear i had to back off a total of three times in fear of running him over. eventually we caught up to some traffic and we backed off. I honestly expected it to be alot faster. it was dog slow.
He decided to take off again. I moved over to the slow lane since I had already made my point three times. Then further ahead, a pickup tried to do a lane change and the genesis had to hit the brakes hard and swerved for the median ditch. I could smell his brakes really bad so I'd say he heated them up pretty good. when I saw him again towards the city it was a middle aged guy driving.

Probably not honestly. I've entertained the idea of a turbo swap but I think that I'd rather put that money into a RWD or AWD setup. I think the stock turbo on these cars is perfect as it is. I'm a fan of 'well rounded' modifying. I may not even do coilovers because this car will likely be my daily driver for the next car.

Got the car on the dyno today.. First two runs the traction kept turning itself back on, coming up saying to service it. ****** cobalts, buddy disconnected abs fuse and it put down good numbers for me. Only 4cyl there to make over 300whp besides a 600hp civic

good numbers! It would be interesting to see how it does against the Boss from a roll. Most of the Boss dynos I've seen are around 390 rwhp stock and there are a few as low as 370 and a few factory freaks above 400 (Edmunds actually got 416 rwhp but I'm sure that's just a happy dyno). With the Cobalt weighing 2,930 (IIRC) and the Boss 3,620 lb, the weight to power ratios are 9.6 and 9.3 based on hp at the wheels so they should be close. The better gearing of the Boss should emphasize the advantage but I would like to see the difference.

I already have a 600 lb. disadvantage.. You can go in the Cobalt! Haha
Don't be so quick underestimate the roadrunner! Lol. any argument right now would be bench racing but the way I think it will go is the boss slowly pulling away from start to finish. There's absolutely no delay between putting your foot down and getting power with these engines if you're in the right gear.
Good luck with O'Regans btw! What job are you applying for?

Was also messing with an orange SC that has green LEDs on the front a few days ago
