hey all,
just wondering if someone could give me a hand putting on a wingless trunk lid on thurs??? hopefully someone who knows what there doing....lol

Good call on the wingless.
wishing stu left his wingless. the wingless look makes the car look that much lower and sexier!
to swap the lid it will only take 5 mins to do.
you have the 4 10mm hing bolts
youneed a flat head screw driver for the pistons. ( you will see a metal tan that is the locking device pry out on the can pull the piston of the mouont)
once you remove that and all the wires take the trunk off lay it on the grass and then look inside where the key hole is, you will need your flat head for this too you will see a HUGE "C" clip holding the lock in pop that off and then remove the 2 or 3 10mm bolts holding the latch on and pull all the out and then put it back together the same way u took it apart.
super easy.

stu's car came with a highrise,but him and jer traded wings,jer has stu's highrise now...and stu took jers lowrise but not using it

the highrise wings look proper on a Redline.....the lines just match. But I am more of a fan of a wingless SS because from the back, the lines don't match up at all. I want mine off, but my wife loves the "hey look at me" wing. I guess it stays on.
