Neither am i.... Its not compared to IMAX... I took a peak at the 3DTV that they have in futureshop and was REALLY disappointed. Not worth the money IMO.

Got in on a group buy for the SCT Tuner, ill be ordering it next pay along with 4 tunes, (on the bottle, off the bottle, fuel eco and valet mode). Reg price is $499, group buy price is $399...not to shabby. A tune really wakes the QC up everyone says. One guy showed me a dyno chart with intake and exhaust (same as i have). Had 50rwhp and 89lb trq increase.

Are those the gains you expect on your truck or that tank? Lol

truck, apparently the QC reacts alot better to a tune then a RC because the QC has alot of things like torque management and a few others to make the transmission last, of course we all know that dynos in the states read higher so ill be happy with 30hp and 60lb of torque.

Made a little process today. My wires and coils should be here any day so im starting the tear down to be able to do it. Got the intake, fuel rails out and got half the intake manifold on bolted. Calling it a day since im hungry and about to go to boston pizza. There are 20 bolts holding the IM down, all of which a small wrench has to be used with barely any room to turn it. Heres the what everything looks like now

I also went by the tint shop that i had tint done on the cobalt and the Z. They are running a special all summer long. I'm getting them to take whatever % is on the truck now and getting the 5 windows tinted to 5% for $195.

Ouch.....it seems the more you mod these cars the worse the numbers get...something is very odd with yours stu.... You should be seeing 220 ish whp and 220ish wtq.

Glad to see your still alive. Haven't heard from you in a while.

was that tune somewere it has pretty awfull lump on the graph posted above
at 4300 by the look of the graph its has spark knock the timing was retarded

also for the dodge truck try it whit out the program then install the tune after

i know whit preditor and hypertec and there another one i cant remember the name
them hand held program you gain nothing in hp on the dyno i tried over 10 of them on the dyno whit the most i seen whas 3 hp gain on the srt8 and some even lost hp

let me know if they work i may get into that program but i want too buy the one that i tune myself

When did you dyno Stu?

Needless to say, you won't see a whole lot of gains without a real tune. My dyno from before was a little higher then that but still low, but i think that was my error.

I need to get on to see trifecta, ffs.

i would be pissed if i dynoed what stu made. hell kingkole dynoed 230hp stock.

As for my TB, already done.

And JD Racing, its not a cheap hand held device, its the actual tuner but im not buying the tuning software. Torrie from Unleashed Tuning is sending me 4 tunes.

1. On the bottle performance
2. Off the bottle performance
3. Valet
4. Fuel Economy

Wouldnt be too upset with numbers stu heat hurts the numbers and it was hot out.. I only dyno'd 228whp and 219 wtq again perhaps that cai is changing things. Your torque is same as mine stock just yoir hp s a little low

heat shouldnt make a differance unless he just arive whit the car and the car was heat soke

the car need to be at oparating temp. that the only way i tune a car on the dyno

a cold car only give you false numbers you want numbers the way the car is driven on the road or at road course

will be doing another supercharger corvette in a few days when i finish the install
should be in the 550 whp range did one last year and still running strong

i think learn down was a factor in stu's case with the intake and all + fuel trims on the Injen prob aren't helping matters. tune will definitely wake it up

More progress. With alot of cursing, and grinding down my 7/16 wrench i finally removed the last bolt and removed the intake manifold. Now i just have to play the waiting game for the coils/wires to come in.
