that's crazy. yea, I don't want that much power in a fwd either. I think the downpipe will be the last power mod I'm getting.. although I did say that before GMS1.. and the intake lol.. I'm pretty determined on making the dp the last power mod tho

As for the kit you posted, its pretty much useless for my car. I'll be running a cold air intake, so the front cf piece with the intake scoop is useless. The cf heat shield for the manifold will be usless cuz i might buy a different manifold. That filter is useless since once again im getting a cai. I think the only piece i would use is the spark plug cover for when i take the engine cover off.
that big peice i thought it was a intake its self... it says it allows more air flow.. i dunno i dunno anything about them other then one of my buddy in alberta has a cobb stage 3 one, and a guy here in halifax has one, but the site it self says it doesnt fit the 2011 anyways..

full tank of gass with my numbers i was driving from here in NS to NB, from NB to PEI and then from PEI to home on a tank and a quarter of gas, and that wasnt taking it easy all the time either.
im rocking between 25-31PSI depends on the gear im in, different load, more boost it seems..
i have HP Tuners now for next season, all this car talk and stuff is making me think hold off over the winter for getting a house and finish the car... i have planned to let it sit for the next 2 yrs while i bought a house, but i just did some research time to go to town on it to get it lower got the paint, and then things start working.
if anyone needs any custom tig welding done, i have a good buddy of mine with his welding license (trade) getting a Tig over the winter, hes making my custom sidewinder turbo manifold and intake too when we get the chance.

Haha yeah, I think I'll be happy with a DP, intake and a 23 psi trifecta tune. Just looking to get a bit over 300 whp then calling it a day.

I'm kinda leaning towards dyno dave now because I think that's where cobalt_daddy got his dyno'ed with GMS1 and no other mods and I have GMS1 and K&N SRI so I want to see if the intake made any difference

Well I've already bought my tune, was from a dealer rather than Vince himself cause I got a free cable out of the deal. Right now I'm stock, but I've been collecting parts and plan to install in the spring time.

from what i heard he sold the dyno and no longer in business

and for fuel economy it dont matter if you make 1000 whp he should be able to do as good or even a bit better than he was stock

moded motor will probly doo less because big cams and such

and for hp on the dyno dont realy say anything

for me they say my dyno read high but when i go to the track i go way faster than them whit there same hp i make on mine

at least my dyno mark the same hp for last 7 years

Stock, im at around 11.5L/100km in the city, i get about 9L/100km on the highway. The stock tune is extreamly rich on the evo's so tunes usally get you better fuel mileage. That being said, with the mods im putting on it will make it worse. So ill probably stay around the same. Doesnt matter to me though, considering my srt-10 was getting about 22.5L/100km and gas dropped to .98/L back in edmonton.

That big piece attachs to the stock air box. The AMS CAI ill be getting brings the filter down in front of the driver side wheel, just like the SS/SC. I talked to the guy on youtube that lives in halifax. He posted a video of a car show in sackville and zoomed in on a green viper acr, which a guy i work with, his father owns.

Thats weird the site says that cuz they are all the same. My short throw shifter, downpipe and midpipe all say 08-10....but yet they are for the 2011 as well, iiunno why sites say that.

i hope yours is better then mine anyways, my 1st one when i was making 8psi was the best, the dyno graph climbed really nice, no knock or nothing, then as i upped the boost and what not he hasnt been able to do anything, then i got suckered into buying his tuning software, and he messaged me told me if i plug it into the computer and start tuning ill lock my ECU but i could use it for data logging, so thats what i did and sent the data logs back to vince, after like the 4th data log no changes made other then running 9.0 on the A/F it went up to 10.5-11.0 ont he A/F still running pretty rich..

yea he seems like a good guy, car is sick as hell. Although iiunno what was up with the graphics when he first got the car..lol. From what i remember theres not alot of evos back east, or at least i never noticed them. Theres quite a few out here. My buddy has a X with a Fp green, another guy with the AMS 750X turbo kit and ill have the FP Red. Its nice when we go to the truck, since our cars are considerd "cheater cars" we usally run in a "all evo" class..lol.

the decals were for his gf's buisness evo water or soemthing like that, same reason why their plate reads evo h20 its all for their business witch is in water testing and so on.
there wasnt many in 2010, now, theres prob like 10-20 rocking around HRM, if you tell Rich about it, he will say theres no red ones here, the blue one was wrote off and the black one is still around, but theres prob like 4 red ones here now, lots of blue ones all done differently, same with black, and theres 2 white ones from what i seen, never seen a green one yet

theres only 1 red one in edmonton that im aware of. The rest are white, blue, grey or phantom black (like mine). But yea that white one in halifax sounded awesome with the hks bov, although from what he told me he got sick of the issues it causes and either recirculated it or changed bov's.

yea he bought some tuning software that apparently wont work cause of the BOV, but he also didnt relocated the MAF so it would read wrong...
im not sure where in Alberta the Red one i know of is, its slammed on nice wheels, CF hood, and Trunk and wingless tinted out, cobb stage 3 and bunch more goodies

very nice, kinda curious to what numbers you will make.

Yea im not sure chris. What color is his car? Another guy just popped up on the forums and got tuned by the same guy that will be doing my car. He has the journal bearing Fp red turbo and made 442hp 380trq at 27psi. I'll have a few more parts plus my turbo is ball bearing and ported, so ill either make more power then him. Or turn the boost down abit to be safe and still make the same power but quicker spool.
