just look at the pic i posted and you judge..
i had light colored interior in that pic and it looks like its black!!! because of the rear windows.
you have black interior and the back windows are going to be 5% just think how dark the fronts will turn out....
your best bet is to do only the rear ones and save the trouble of the fine an or risk of it

be carefull, and remember, another thing, a cop cannot issue a ticket for speeding unless caught in the act, but if somone reports your car (might not be fore speeding could be for anything) and the cops show up toyour house ask to see the car to match a discription, and they see the tint, they can issue a ticket for tint.. so it can be parked on the road in dt hali and a cop that walks the sidewalk sees it can ticket yo too..
but hey do what you want, im just warrning you.

if your gonna tint the front i would do 70% that way its still tinted but very lightly
and tint goes by how much light is let in.

i wouldnt waste your money bud i had mine done and within a week they got me and i got the same treatment as the other guy she told me if i get it off within 48 hours she will void the ticket.... they are very stickey with that and i have also noticed that cars that i have seen before with their front two tinted they must of got nailed too because i have seen them around and now they dont have the tint on anymore

But if your gonna do it tell him your payin cash and he will give you a deal cuz thats where i got mine done

I know 2 people that are cops with the Halifax Regional Police. Tint is one of there fav tickets to hand out. The tint law is there to protect the police in the event of them pulling somebody over, they would like to be able to see if someone is reaching for a weapon when they are approaching the car.

In NS, back window and back side windows max tint is 35%. Any tint on front side and windshield is illegal, factory installed or not.

you do know that GM DOES NOT tint the front windows at ALL!
they use a green mix in the glass that helps with the sun, but doesnt tint the window at all.
the only way you can tell is in high end make cares like BMW, Benz, and so on they have the percentage in the window for cops to know thats factory, and is a requirement.
No cobalt has this so no cobalt has window tint in the windows.

The green "mix" is actually the equivalent of 70% tint. Says right on the window. Granted it's not a film, it's still technically "tinted."

I paid $180 tax included for 20% all around with a lifetime warranty. Doesn't look too shabby with the red, either.

I love it and cops don't bother me (yet) *knock on wood* Also great visibility at night.

Man I wish the cops here had better things to do besides give us tickets for tint when they should be finding people that are drinking and driving and whatnot

actually bmw and mercedes do not come factory stock with tinted windows, it is an option just like any other car. my aurora has solar tint built into the windows and you can also buy windows that are 5% or whichever % you like thats not film either they just cost an arm and a leg to buy.
