Hawk hps pads price check

Hey just got a price on hawk hps brake pads for my tc. They want 200 for the front and 150 for the rear. Sounds high any place I can get them cheaper? Or are they worth the money?

From what I've heard, they're definitely worth the money. But I paid about $225 shipped for my front and rear set. Check online and with some of the vendors around here, they usually have pretty good deals on them.

I assume the price you got was from a local store? I think rears are like $75ish, and fronts $1xx.

Wow that much? Their fantastic pads, but way overpriced. Have you looked on eBay? I got mine with 4 slotted rotors from R1Concepts. I think the pads alone were $100~ for all 4

My bad, didn't see you were looking for the TC, but that's quite pricey for pads

If you need new pads, just get stock ones, they stop much better. I'm kinda dissappointed with my HPS. They work fine, but could be better. The best thing about them is that they DON'T dust.

I have recently changed over to a complete set of hps pads, they seem to stop comparably similar but edge to the stock, but the pedal response seems better with the hps for me.

well guys i started my brake maintenence and sure enough the front drivers side pads were cracked (with 3/4 life on pads) the passenger side was alright and still 3/4 life on pads... went inside and called around for prices and gm stock replacements were 180 for front and 190 for rears.. f'n nuts.. so i called my local parts place and while waiting for call back i started the rears.. the inside pad was down the the metal and the outside pad was 3/4 still there.. fml!!!! so called gm and asked if they would be on warranty since theres definatly something up with that and nope! they dont warranty brake pads.. (i knew about the slider problem from factory in the rears so lubed them up right when i got the car.. but guess it didnt help anything)

so turbotechracing.... i seen the pads on your site and want to buy.. just wondering on shipping.. i sent you a pm asking about it.. hope to hear from you soon because i got soe seriously shot brakes!

got the pads installed yesterday.. dont know if i was used to driving with shitty rear pads but they seem to stop alot better.. done a hard left foot brake(with out a seatbelt on) and my head almost hit the steering wheel... it stood the car right on its nose.. so id say they work pretty well.. am interested in seeing what they perform like june 8th at the first autocross..
