Well lets see what we can get going for a huge meet and cruise plus camp out august 8th 2009 (sorry Rob July Seemed To Early)
im doing this two months in advance so it gives people the time to book it off and not have an excuse to not come.
this is my plan.

Meet at Amherst Crappy Tire at 12 noon.
Leave there are 1pm and head to parsbro to 5 islands.
on the way back we can stop at my cottege and camp out there in the lots, mom said not aloud to go inside reason being the house is 150 yrs old. another down fall about staying there is no camp fire...
so we have the option either get a camp ground and pay or sleep free.
then on our way back thru springhill sunday stop in at tour a mine and take a tour of the mines then i guess go our own ways and go home sunday after noon.

I am not sure if I will be there..tons of people have that week/weekend booked off...and I think I seen on the calender that no more from my dept. can book it off...I will have to double check it...

 

AC/DC plays on that Thursday (Aug 6th) in Moncton

 

It would be a good time. But not sure what I'll be doing in that timeframe. The Plus is that I'm from down Parrsboro way. 5 Island's is a nice place. Nice cruisin Going down through Moose River and stuff, the road is windy, and non bumpy. Unfortunatly Work every Saturday, so the 12 noon thing wouldn't work for me. (Delivery Drive For The Brick here in Amherst). I'm not sure if it's another downfall or not, but August 9th is my Birthday. But who knows. I'd still like to come up to Canadian tire and meet ya all. Delivery Truck or my car, LoL.
Was Delivering up in Moncton last week, and see a black SS. Who's that floating around up there. Looks sharp anyhow.

There's a few of us in Moncton that have black SS's. If it had aftermarket headlights and an oversized "SS" badge on the front grille then that would have been my ride. Where abouts did you see the black SS and around what time

 

If I can remember correctly, It was around the 2:00pm hour, On A Tuesday, Up by the Moncton City, turning onto Mountain Rd. What caught my eye was the gunsmoke colored Factory 18's and the tinted windows. I never noticed at first, but my passenger said hey look Ryan, a car like your's only black. But Mountain Road was busy as hell, and I didn't really get a good look other than the rims and how all that black ran together for the slickness look.

 

is everyone free the next weekend then?
i wanna keep it close to the start of the month...
but i understand about the ac/dc thing going on. who has tickets to it?

Well... Pre-booked August 8th off, just awaiting the o.k. Still might be able to cruise with ya all yet. Saying my car holds out that long. (Gonna burn down GM LoL)

nope i wont be there, im done with alot of the cobalt owners around here, seems like everyone likes to dis each others car, or builds or prices on things for sale, or talk about people behind their back because their friends own imports... you know who you are!

 

I can't say I'm not surprised, but figuring something like this would happen anyways.
Meh. I never thought that it was who had the best ride, or better mod, but what us boys can do
together. Show people that we do have nice rides and that we enjoy doing this stuff. The old J-body, and M.R.N.E.C. always had great meets and cruises, and with this one with such advance notice,
I can't belive that we can't even get this one together.
I'd be the first to tell anyone my problems, but do I care, nope, do I care what people think, nope.
It's just a cruise.

Skizziks, we meet up every saturday at 7 pm at zellers on mountain rd if your up for that then come on up

 

Yeah I've been up odd times, my only problem is when I am in Moncton, especially on a Saturday night, It's not to park, it's to Drink!, LoL. Nothing beats Moncton Nightlife
