Loring AFB Huge 2 day autocross in Limestone, Me.
Cumberland Motor Club is doing the two day autocross again this year at the former Loring Air Force base in Limestone Maine. August 11/12.
We return to the airfields at Loring for our thrid annual SAC Racing event. This event is not to be missed. Nowhere in the USA can you find as big a course area. It has two 14 thousand foot runways!
The third annual CMC Loring Autocross will take place August 11/12 in the former Loring AFB in Limestone Maine. This is a premier venue dwarfing any other site on the east coast. In past years we have drawn participants from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Mass and Canada.
Cost is $45 for CMC members and $55 for non-members (this is per day). Pre-registering for the event, earns a $10 discount per day. Special event day pricing will be available to residents of the County.

There will be free on-site camping (no hookups) and a on-site food service will be available for lunch both days (and possibly breakfast)
I went last year and had a blast. It is fairly well organized and they run 4 cars on the course at the same time. So you get a lot of runs.
