So 12000 kms ago 5th gear went in my tranny, they overhauled the tranny and everything was a-ok. recently 3rd gear started grinding and i took it to the dealership on wednesday in fredericton, they overhauled the transmission again. on my way back home (i live about 45 mins outside of fredericton) i get about halfway home and in my msg center "Power Steering" appears and i lose my power steering, the CEL comes on, i lose my speedometer, but the tach and fuel gauge still work, i lose all of my temp sensors, and also my trip odometers. im taking it back to the dealership tomorrow again, but i was wondering if anyone knows what might have caused this problem? maybe the mechanic didnt plug all of my sensors back into the tranny and that caused one of them to fall out halfway home? i just found it weird for the power steering to quit working also.

The VSS probably came unplugged...Look down behind the transmission from the top pass side..

 

got it fixed, the clip on the sensor broke and it just fell out

 

aka the mechanic shoved it in too hard and it broke lol and he thought it would be fine as is

 

pretty much lol,
they should have given me some gas money
