Plead not guilty, go to court and deny it. I got a drag racing ticket back in 2010 for allegedly racing an Evo X on the highway. We got pulled over at the next exit 2 miles into the city, the four cops that pulled us over said an off duty officer, in his personal car, from another city was driving on the other side of the highway and saw us racing. He issued a drag racing ticket, which thankfully is a misdemeanor 1 in Ohio, some states it is a felony. They had nothing against me other than the off duty officer's word, but considering it was a low lit highway in the middle of the night how could he come to the conclusion we were racing in the 5 seconds he probably saw us. So I went to court plead not guilty, with no lawyer alsp, I went in and got it completely thrown out. The only positive thing about being pulled over was when the cop pulling us over said the guy who called it in told us that it looked like the silver car (which is me) beat the other car by a mile lol. I didn't know the Evo driver, but when the cop said that, I looked at him and he just looked completely humiliated ha. Score one for GM.

Why would i call the police ? About this. If your wife/gf/family member just got in a car accident . You get a phonecall that there in the hospital and about to die. You think id be driving the speedlimit, not passing people etc. ? Hell no screw that ****.

Those of you who are unaware, this is one of the deadliest highways in the province. We don't need anymore stupidity on it.

True enough, I travel this highway everyday for work. Already had a few accidents and one death since I went back to work in May. It is a very dangerous 55km.

@ all the people telling him to just pay it. Do you really not fight every ticket you get? I go to every court date given by the ticket and most of the time they will either knock it in half or throw it out. Haha, the police write these tickets in hopes that you won't waste an hour of your time going to court and just pay the $300. Also, never admit to any wrong doing if you ever want a chance of getting it thrown out. When you admit wrong doing, the police note that statement on their little pad of paper and it will come up in court if you decide to change your arguement.

Also when you do get your court date you have to take a day off work to attend and lose a day's pay
