tirerack.com

has anyone on here from the maritimes ordered rims and or tires from tirerack? I'm just wondering how much duty they slap on the orders when they hit the canada/us border....

also, what are you supposed to do if you get shipped a bad tire? my buddy got tires for his civic one day and 3 of the 4 new tires were faulty, and the belts broke in 2 weeks. if you get a bad or defective tire from tirerack, what are you supposed to do? just suck it up and buy another? anyhow , just looking for some input.

Are you installing the 40's on the stock rims? If not, what is the width of your aftermarket rims? Just curious as I was debating purchasing the Potenza RE01-As or the Dunlop Z1's in that size.

The best tires I could get and still spend under $200 a tire were General Exclaim UHP. So far they have been great, I don't ride the car hard, so they do the trick... good in the rain and low noise.
