turbo timer ?

Anyone have one and find they are good ? My cousin has a universal turbo timer at his performance shop hes asking if i want. Any opinions ?

Our turbo is Oil and water cooled. There is no need for a turbo timer. If you are doing some hard pulls, just drive like normal before you get home to cool it down.

I was thinking because we drag race the car it br a good idea to have. And just have a switch so when i dont need it turn it off.

It can't really hurt. I know the srt4 guys run them, so even if it was just for racing, the extra precaution couldn't hurt.

if your use to a turbo car it not needed like the post above drive slower when you arive home let it run for a few sec you can shut off the car

even at the track the time your in the return lane the turbo had anouf time to slow down

plus one thing i dont like about turbo timer most car you cant just buy thge harnest to plug it right in whit out messing aorun whit your harnest the more you cut your harnest more problem down the road your going to have

waste of money unless you drive the car hard all the time. just be smart and let it cool down before ya shut it off if you ran it really hard. it will cool down fast enough down the back stretch at greenfield so you shouldn't need one.

Even if you drag it, by the time you get off the track and drive back to your parking spot it will be more than safe enough to turn the car off without needing to idle it before you do.
