Lowering Help!

Anyone happen to know where I can get some springs put in?
I want to get a set of Eibach Sportlines, I don't want to can the car, just get ride of the body sway, and the H and R kit is to much of a drop for my taste.
I live in the Port Moody area, but every place I have talk to only does imports, this could be because my last car was a civic, so I only know import tunning places. So where did you guys get your Cobalt lowered, Please Help!!!

any local shop should do it. its not difficult at all, actually its quite easy to do if you have the right tools. im sure the import shop would do it also.

You dont need to go to a tuning place at all any local shop can install them they are just replacement springs.. as for the drop i went with the Sportlines.. it is a dice drop but if you wanna get rid of body sway ur have to get replacement struts cause ur gonna blow the stock one in about 6 month

they can only do springs on imports? it should be exactly the same, doesn't matter the car.

it's very easy to do it yourself. maybe a local member can help you, or if you want pm me and i'll give you a step by step how to. it's really not that hard at all, and if you did it yourself trust me when i say you'll kick yourself for considering taking it somewhere.

if you are unable to do it yourself, take it to a reputable general repair/front end shop. itll be a peice of cake for them and they can do the alignment while the car is there.

Thanks Tung, I'm going to give those guys a try.
I work up around Lougheed Mall so its even nice and close.
Is it in that industrial mall across from the shool, just down from Silver City, or is it facing the road?
Does anyone from around here know what I'm talking about when I say they won't do domestic cars, or am I the only one who's encountered this problem?

I would love to learn how do it myself but time, knowledge, lack of tools, and nowhere to do it (my underground parking just wont hack it). I do all my own electronics, I refuse to let someone else install stereo equipment, and I just finished putting in HID's (BTW-PenguinPIE- They looks awsome, I'll post pics soon). That kind of stuff I can do in my underground. Take into account that I work like a dog, and then get home just to work on the car (GF's not so happy about this) , so its worth the money, that I have time is what I don't have...ya know?

Advance Motorsports is great to deal with. they tinted my windows and were a lot of help in trying to find rims for my car.

Went there on Wed and ordered them, Eibach sportlines, They should be in and installed by the end of next week. Thanks for the help guys. I think I have driven by that place a thousand times but never really seen it. If you havent been in there, go theres everything a tunner could desire, turbos, rims, body kits, projectors, the list goes on and on. It took all I had in me to sit still while he wrote up the invoice

Eibach Sportlines
1.3" drop
$425.00 installed

I went to a place out in Pitt Medows, Killer Customs, They quoted me $650.00 for the same thing.
They did however have the sweetest 69 Camaro I have ever seen in the list of work they have done on there website, Ah if I only had $100,000 to drop in mods and restoration
Scroll down the page a little bit after you open the link, its the second car

Thanks
They called today to tell me the springs had arrived. They booked me in for Sat.
The HIDs look good, and were relativly easy to install (even though the instructions were not in english) I know I said I'd post some pics but I'm waiting for one of two things, after its lowered or god forbid it stops raining so it will be clean for them.
Thanks again to Tung for sending me to Advanced

Yeah there on the list. Along with bigger rims, stage 2, and the RK sport body kit, or at least the wing from it, this wing is killing me.
I had a 95 Civic (dragon Ed) before with the honda sport mid wing, only cut my rear view off a little bit, This one cuts off the top half of any car in my rear view, so its hard to tell if its a cop behind me when I can't see over the bumper, I drive with a bit of a lead foot so...
