might keep the balt

so i decided that if by december or so that car doesn't sell..then im just gonna go and do more stuff by summer..probably start with sway bars / koni yellows to complete my suspension set up, then get either 1 crazy 10" or 2 type s 10" or something along thoughs lines etc (so spun if ur reading this probably gonna need ur help with this sound stuff) and then later on depending how much money i have to play with get a 2nd heat exchanger/ hatrickstu mod put in which i already basically have just never put in yet cause i thought i was gonna sell to keep down the heatsoak.. then again depending how much is left after that maybe go 2.9, 60's and tune or 2.8 and 60's and tune..and a mini paint project around too like with the silver inside trip + the door handle silver pieces since my stockies are starting to chip on the silver and stuff.. so still might be around come december etc lol we'll see

mise well, didnt you say your car was a rebuild? Hard to sell rebuilds, especially for what your asking, im kind of in the same situation now, just got into an accident and if it doesnt get totalled, im gunna be stuck with it. Nobody is going to want to buy a cobalt with 2 accidents on it. So it may turn into a big project, someone say ZZP stage 3 turbo?

no car is NOT a rebuild lol and ya icbc is a ******* joke (pardon my language) they say that accidents don't effect resale but go out and ask ANYONE if they would pay the same price for a car with no accidents compared to an exactly the same car with an accident

I would never even buy a car with 1 accident. Its just no worth the problems it might have. My cobalt has never been in a accident and it has zero issues. Not a single part has ever malfunctioned.

yep, word from insurance, estimate only $2000 in damage, which is good because then i dont have to claim the accident. Anything under $2500 doesnt have to be claimed.

Also since i have an injury claim going, i can use the money from the settlement which will take like a year to look into a new vehicle then. but thats a ways away

Yeah but Carfax is a bitch when it comes to that, it will tell you every insurance claim against the car.
I think its just hard to sell used cars right now, I have a 2000 Prelude that was sort of my winter car, I have been trying to sell it for a couple months, below market value, I just want it gone so I can get my new car but for the offers I'm getting on it I might as well trade it in, same amount of money. Anyway my point was when I first put the car up for sale I ran a Carfax on it, the only thing on the report other than everytime it was registered or insurance was renewed, was a $200 theft in 03. So just because you don't have to disclose it doesn't mean they can't find out real easy.
I thought $2000 was the cutoff point for accident discloser?

Its not just our cars, its used cars in general.
There offering such good deals on new now a days that no one wants used.

On a side note I just traded that Prelude in on a 2010 BMW 135i, Sedona Red with the M package, should be here on Friday....I'm not very good at waiting so its been a tough week so far

Damn that ride is gonna be sweet. Drive like your on the Autobahn!
I can only get 10k for my turbo 2.2 and I wanted to trade it in for a 2006 Subaru WRX STI (6 Spd.)
Won't happen for another 1-2 years but one of these days

My brother just bought a 2009, Pearl white, its nice, but I'm not down with the 5 door hatch back, which is the only way it came this year.
They move pretty good, his has a switch that alows him to change the ratio of power to the front/back tires, I think it ranged from 50/50 to 80/20, also has a dial that allows him to lower and raise the headlights from right in the cabin..

As for my Bimmer, its still not here yet but I think he said Tues...I freaking hate waiting!!
Oh yeah, Brian Jessel will now be carring the Dinan upgrades for the turbo BMW's. The 2 packages that are available for the 135 are: Stage 1-366hp and 379lb-ft torque and Stage 2-384hp and 421lb-ft torque.
Heres the kicker, the upgrades are all software no hardware, there avaliable starting in December and covered under warranty. However they are $1700 and $2500 respectively.... oh well thats what Visa's were made for
