So i finally sold me 92 civic si and made a little upgrade to a 2006 Cobalt ss/sc.
I am 18, going to UFV and love the car so far since i bought in Feb 7, 2009.

Looking forward to possibly meeting a couple of you guys at meets or something.

I havent seen many other SS's in my area except for a yellow one around the block with a supercharged decal on the front windshield.

nope. ive only had it for two weeks. but i have managed to pull off a couple races. i beat my buddies 08 turbo GTI by a couple cars. we ran 4 times and i got him everytime.

last night i also went up against a modded BMW 3-series. i got raped lol. the guy said he had around 500hp at the crank. second run he gave me a jump and he finally passed me after i hit 210kmh.

not going to lie, it was pritty stupid. i dont drive that fast anymore (200+kmh) and i dont usually race in areas that see more traffic. but this guy rolled up and it was a spurr of the moment thing. i was on my way home and it was around 2am this morning i guess and it was just of 200th on the langley by-pass. down the road from Vanilla Room.

 

You hit 210km/h in the city? Jeese, I would never go THAT fast within the city. I cant really say too much since Ive seen 240km/h (on the #1 neer 264th at 2am. I beat a Modded VR6 Jetta).

 

yeah i have done 240 btwn 264 and 200, but damn on the By-Pass!? thats crazy, near V-Room the road is **** too... i live around fraser and 184, near dublins pub

 

that's a fun stretch of no popo in that area tested out my speeds a couple times there before.

 

well the road was empty and its super wide and paved well. still, not the safe. i usually keep it to the highway like u guys in the early morning.
