White Cobalt SS/TC with some hideous American Racing rims that slammed into the back of a Suburban that I witnessed. I don't care how loud you want to yell at the Suburban driver, you ran a red when I was trying to merge onto the Fraser Highway (at least one of us was paying attention or else I would have hit you right in the passenger door) and hit the drivers side rear bumper cutting in front of some old Civic in the left lane. If you had any common sense you would have noticed the Suburban slowing down for the RED LIGHT that you were coming up to, already 6 or 7 cars deep. Pull your head out of your ass.

Surprise surprise, some 18 something brown kid blaring Jazzy B or whatever you listen to. I don't mean to stereotype, but this ain't India. Drive by the rules.

EDIT: If you read this post and if it gets written off, I want your rear ground effects. Can you tell me which wrecker it went to? Paint 'er black to put on my 'balt and wait for one of your 'cousins' to wreck the rear end of his so I can get his front lip.

I understand where your coming from. There are alot of drivers in BC that need to remove there head from there ass before engaging the engine...However the fact that the driver you speak of was brown has nothing to do with it.
The "Bad Driver" virus that seems to infect so many on the roads today does not care what color you are, or what music you listen to.
That being said I don't speak for everyone else but IMO theres no room for that ass backwards way of thinking you have around here so please refrain from posting or preaching your views if you are going to be a racist.

Of course Caucasians and Asians get in a tremendous number of accidents, but what I'm saying is that severe and preventable accidents of which I bear witness to are due to aggressive and reckless driving by young Indo-Canadian males. I don't mean to be ignorant or offend you in any way, but I drive an hour and a half twice a day 6 days a week, and believe you me when I say that the Escalades, Hummers, and ridiculously expensive sports cars are either older men or young, brown kids who have no way of affording that lifestyle by conventional means (sure, multi-generational homes exist, but not let's be completely realistic, every multi-generational house does NOT drive multiple $50,000+ vehicles).

Open your eyes. How frequently do you see a young, white male driving an Escalade/Hummer/Corvette/Mustang blasting music with their spinners and cross decals? How frequently do you see a young, brown male driving an Escalade/Hummer/Corvette/Mustang blasting music with their spinners and Khanda decals?

I try my best not to stereotype people, but I can't deny my own observations and say that the ratio of accidents I witness are 1:1 in terms of the ethnicity of the responsible driver. The same goes for darting into traffic. Seldomly do I drive past any Temple of predominantly Sikh school and NOT see a kid jump out into steady traffic to cross the street. I drive through 6 school zones and only one gives me a problem, and you can guess which one judging by my "hatred".

And don't take me to be exclusively criticizing Sikh's and Hindu's. By brown I generalize a number of different faiths, so perhaps he was not Sikh but of a different faith, but I look at what is apparent to me, and the Reflex jacket and white D&G shades don't exactly scream subtlety.

You can't argue with my experiences, the best we can all do is be aware of who is on the road and how to drive and practice the safe driving that allowed us to drive this vehicles in the first place. I know I do, but some tend to repeatedly exhibit a certain ignorance and disrespect for the law.

It's a simple observation that I've made over the past two years when car crashes have become more frequent, and this is what I observe. I've been on the receiving end of cultural ignorance since the mid-90's and my views have been tainted, but not without some very strong influences which have left terrible tastes in my mouth. And you can't say any other culture is responsible for this.

It's 2009, and whatever hate I refrained from releasing back then, I'll release now.

 

Your stance is shameful. I believe I frequent this forum because I am proud of my vehicle, therefore jealousy would have absolutely nothing to do with this. -1 for irrelevance.

There's a bit of a trend that I and my colleagues have noticed, which is, the more expensive the vehicle being driven, the more disrespectful of the law the driver is. From this I can derive that in my daily experiences, I see more young brown males driving expensive cars than white males altogether. Please note that this does not exempt any particular colour from poor driving, but rather suggests that there is more of a particular ethnicity in this category. It's a false sense of entitlement that leads to bad driving and inconsideration for fellow drivers.

I'm glad that you observe what I do but in different cultures, and I respect your view, however cultural blinders are potentially playing a huge role in this. Much like I seldom see Caucasians driving poorly, you seldom see Indo-Canadians driving poorly.

That being said, I would love to hear your personal experiences if you care to send me a private message. Clearly I am missing something, and I'd hate to fall into these terrible habits that you observe. If not, I will take your point and accept that we are all terrible drivers with no respect for the law, and as ignorant, racists fools we will forever shut out mouths and refrain from participating in the same ignorant behavior that many cultures portray.

And the next time I'm called a hick, cracker, or any other cultural slur, my observations will continue to be affirmed.

You'll notice that you're by no means a minority, and that I haven't killed anyone.

Let me make something very clear; I do not hate anyone. I just want to see a bit more consideration for the law and the kind of social harmony that is being impeded by poor driving. I singled out your group, and in exchange for the deletion of my account, I will hope you, and members of your culture, will choose to abide by the laws respect fellow drivers. Compromise. At least we've resolved that there is a huge problem with shitty driving in the Lower Mainland!

I dont like my thread being brought up from the dead for local CSS members to bash eachother. Take it to the PM's or stop talking, but dont do it in my thread. Second time ive warned u guys, i would hate to start having to send out reports on the local CSS members. But if you dont have the respect to get this outa my thread then im not going to feel to bad doing it. My thread was about a specific idiot driver, not about a race of people so not only is this not an appropiate subject your on, its also off topic.

Geehumshriber should have used a better choice of words when he decided to bring my thread back up from the dead; BUT if its offensive, report it to a mod or talk to him about it in PM's instead of acting like this in a public thread.

Sorry for being a dick and offending, well, most of this forum. I'm just frustrated at all the shitty drivers. I just want to drive this car for a long time and don't want to be the beneficiary of some retard running reds or racing and totaling my car.
