Got mine going 250kmph.......crazy I loved it.....I had to grab one of my buddies to come with me cause nobody believed me that it would go that fast.....and that a girl would drive that fast...hahaha I was lovin it...

 

Got my 2.4L SS to 200kph before, that was on a dry day on a loooooong straight pretty flat stretch of road. Still had a lot to go but I didnt feel the need to go much more over that, maybe this weekend I can go faster, I havent tried to go that fast with the K&N filter, but that shouldnt make too much of a difference but we'll see, hopefully I can get my hands on a radio. Convoying it on the highway, radios, cars runnin up to make sure all is clear = good stuff on straightaways!!

 

I had my SS/SC Cobalt doing 210 kmh. then shut it down due to the fact that I ran out of road..

 

i had mine @ 140mph with 800mi on my odometer.

 

so far only around 100...but that was cause some asshat was not gonna let me pass...he would slow down...then speed up...ugg

 

I'v had mine up to 140 with about 2000 miles and it was still climbing... but I came to a red light. Then a little while ago, I hit ~143 while racing an s2k, that was on the freeway and I guess I was so cought up in the race I didn't relize that traffic was flying by like they were standing still. That race was extremely stupid now that I look back... But it was still cool seeing my speed-o just past the 140 mark!

 

I had mine up to 152 mph just once to see how fast it would go.ran outa road might have gone faster.

 

Ive had my 2.4L bouncing off the 130mph limiter rnning from some State boys...I was doing 70 in a 65 and he came out all lights blazing..."not today, I'm already late for work"....:

 

136 mph.... with still lots of pedal to go.....

had mine going 190km/h on the way to banff my sister and her bf at the time wanted to see how fast the ol 2.4L could go i could have gone 200 but traffic was starting to get a little congested so i slowed down not to mention i was just over 3000km but ya haven't done that since then the fastest since then was 160km/h

 

Had my rsx up to 240 with just intake header, took a pic.. I know, gay.
Then, got the ecu mod,a nd went again. Looked like 160mph when I got out of it,
but it was only 154mph on the datalog. I had another 450rpm in 5th, and it was still going decent. Never tried since. Tires were only good for 149mph, now I have z-rated ones
so might try again next spring since it's alot faster and won't take 40 seconds to get there.

I suspect your speedos might be out also. Factory is allowed 2% I think, and it adds up.

Had my SC up to about 152ish the other night, granted I had a little bit of a downhill run at the start but it leveled out and was still pulling. I was catching up to an older little pickup and a turn awfully fast so I dropped back down to 90ish.

I was really surprised at how stable the car felt though. Now I wanna go faster!

 

Got My 2.4 Up To 130 And The Limiter Kicked In. Good Thing I Slowed Down... Further Up The Road There Was A Sheriff Radaring People. I Wanted To Go Faster..... Also My Mom Was In The Car And She Loved Going That Fast

 

105mph on my 05 governed lol and when i went over a speed bump at 20mph the vss went out so i went to the nice long straight stretch that has nothing around for about 2 miles and all i did was redlined 4th then 5th plus about 5 seconds on wot... dont remember exactly what rpm tho, didnt get a good glance down and all i kno was it was enough for me when i didnt kno what speed i was going since the speedo wasnt reading.

anyone have an idea to what i was doing or how to get rid of the limiter?

ya i know i can push 200km/h in my 2.4L i just don't want to the rcmp have been ass hats lately. not to mention its much more fun to see how quickly you can get to that speed what no both getting to that speed and achieving that speed are equally as fun.

 

Yeah, sorry. Just that's the numer I remember. The k-pro datalogged in mph, so I knew that one was 154, or about 246km/h.
The 240 I took a pic of was likely about 235 really with the speedo being off.
So roughly 146mph.

 

245 km/h...i dunno how much more it had left i ran out of road
