Where would i get one of these in the surrey area? i know theres canadian tire and such but i want a good place so i wont get dinged for everything. And i know pretty much everybody will make me take my tint off my front windows but anyone know a good, smaller place?

 

i think the canadian tire on 102nd and king george might be able to do that...

 

Thats actually across the road from where i live, I can see it from my balcony lol. i went and talked to a guy there and when i asked about it he said "you know youre most likely going to have to fix something right?" So i didnt make an appointment yet lol. So thats a good place? Cuz buddy at apple auto glass said he'd charge me $120 to take my tint off, then put on new stuff after my inspection...

 

Yeah no car shop will pass you with front tint, not a chance.

Haha ya i probably shoulda introduced myself. Ive been snooping on this forum for over year when i bought my car last september. Just never really posted since i lived in a small town in alberta and nobody was within 4 hours of me so i just snooped at info lol. I had another account but i forgot my info and made this one. My name is brett. I just moved to Surrey a month ago wednesday. I drive around like every day in surrey, burnaby and new west (got no job yet cuz i really dont know what to do so this is how i occupy myself lol). Got a 07 black SS/NA with high rise and 15% all around tint. GMPP exhaust and i rod my baby pretty good so u will hear me drive by. U will spot me cuz i still have my alberta plates with 666 on them :p I honestly dont know much at all about cars...just a little random pieces of info. So if anybody sees me drive around...lemme know lol.

ok i found some pics on my phones memory card and threw em up. Nothing special about my car but i like it and it gets the job done. Oh and i threw on a shorty antenna last week so no more 5 feet of fly catching mess. One day it actually caught a fly and split in half lol. Stayed on there the entire way form alberta to here too!

 

i have a buddy of mine who can do those inspections and im sure that he would pass it with the tint on there.... but he is all the way in vancouver and im not sure what his shop would charge for it

 

really? whats the name of the place? i wouldnt mind driving to vancouver. still cheaper than taking off and putting tint back on haha

 

lol ya its definately cheaper.... its a small shop and id have to ask him before you go down there... dont wanna make you drive from surrey to vancouver for nothing.
