Don't be surprised if you get a dirty message on your answering machine, ZZP...
So I have tried being civil about this and respectful of the company. But everyone who deals with ZZP knows that they have a horrible way of communicating with their customers. I have tried time and time again to contact ZZP about my two orders and have one recieved a response from Zoomer that he would "Check On It". Its been a month since I ordered my engine and 3 weeks since I signed a credit verification form and sent in ID and everything to have them ship my engine to my garage. The verification was done very shortly after my form was sent in. Just recently both my head/cams combo and shortblock have been completely removed from my order list on my account. I don't know what happened because theres $7000 charged on my credit card and that totals with my past orders recently to over $12000 spent towards ZZP. You would think I would get more of a status update on something so crucial and expensive than "I'll check on it". If I don't see a status update soon, don't be surprised to hear a dirty message from my lawyer...

My head and cams combo was about 2200 with shipping. My built shortblock with neutral balance shafts, 2.1 girdled block, forged internals, ati balancer, and new fidanza flywheel was $5480 shipped.

Yeah man, its communications. I had great service with my turbo kit but that was all from Matt. None of the other ZZP employees seemed to want to help me and Steve just acted like he was pissed at me when I had waited a month on my turbo kit and was wondering how it was going.

same thing happened to a friend of mine, he spent $6k with them on an S252 turbo kit and some other goodies, couldnt get ahold of them, then the kit arrived and it was missing something and ZZP never contacted him back. $6k towards them and crap customer service.
The things he was missing was nothing major, just like a couple clamps, but none the less.

I mean, I like their parts. I really do...but if it comes down to being another month or longer I'll just call up the credit card company and let them know I never recieved it and rebuild the engine with stock internals and sell the car to someone else and get a 2011 5.0 and have Ford put their supercharger on it....

I tried asking them questions about some parts, never got a response so I ordered from OTTP. If I can I do most of my ordering from OTTP or Turbo Tech. Best customer service I've had.
Only 2 of my parts have came from ZZP and it was a hassle

great products, **** service.
a local member here bought an s256 kit for his 2.4 weeks ago.
they sent him an lnf kit. He called them because he noticed things missing like oil lines, fittings and a few things. After calling his bank and complaining they put out a seize on the money and they finally sent the "missing parts"
he didn't however realize he had an lnf kit and was still missing more parts. now they won't get ahold of him. he's emailed and called.
not to mention i have my fair share of negative experiences with them. such as being called a "********" and a "liar" directly by zoomer when all i was doing was helping them. hope you get your money back. just call your CC company and tell them you didn't authorize that ****.
normally i wouldn't let it get there but with lack of communication who knows what is going down.
best of luck to you.
i normally stay out of these threads but the truth needs to be told.
hope it all works out. thats a lot of money to give to someone for an "i'll look into it."

4 times by email, 4 pms. Tried contacting Tim as hes the one who builds the engines, tried contacting CSRs and got Zoomer as I already stated, tried contacting Ryan and got no response, tried contacting Matt (and I won't blame him for this because someone else should do his job when he isn't there) and he was on vacation and said he thought they were working on engines but didn't know where he was away and that was a week or two ago. So yes, I have tried contacting them.
