The wife has an 05 SS/SC that we really don't have a good use for. Here is the little info I do have for it:
Color: Red
Interior: Gray Leather
Condition: Excellent in and out.
Monthly Payment: $355
No G85 package but has power sunroof and XM (that was reactivated the first week in Jan and paid in full for a year)

Car is in great condition with only 22.3K miles. Lease is over June '09 so about 23 payments left....

 

Forgot to mention, I am located in Akron, OH (NE Ohio....)

Are you running an aftermarket exhaust and dark tinted windows? I have only seen one red one around here (just last week near Chapel Hill Mall) and it had a different exhaust and tint....

Goat07, I will find out for you. I know it just has the standard 3 year/36K warranty and the car was leased in June of 05 (so approx 17 months left on the factory)..... The payoff, I will have to get back to you....

The wife got her paperwork out and sent me the "Residual Value" at the end of the lease (I am assuming this is the payoff at the end of the lease if we want to buy it). That residual value is $11292.05. Again, it will be a couple days before I can get pics of the car since my schedule doesn't allow me to get daylight pictures. I should be able to get some this weekend.

Fixed the original post to reflect the current status of the car. No money down, just looking to have someone take over the last 23 months of the lease straight up ($355/mo). We am moving out to the country and the wife needs a car that is a little more friendly to unplowed winter roads. I can get pics if you need them....

 

are you able to drop it off in marion ohio, and when is the payment due as in what day of the month

06cobaltls, I am not positive but I am waiting to hear back from my wife. SHe leased it before we were married and so she takes care of the payment on it. As soon as I hear from her, I will let you know! Oh, and Marion is only 100 miles from me in Akron, it would be no bid deal to drop it off to you!

 

Damn $355 a month, Good Luck getting rid of that car.

Sorry to say this but you got ripped off big time.

I have an 06 SS/SC for only $268.87 a month and I put only $3,000.00 down.
It came with a Sunroof and XM Radio.

Am I the only Cobalt owner with low payments on this site?

Sorry if I am bashing I just don't understand why such a difference in Monthly payments thats all. I hope you sell your car, I want to get rid of mine also but I am going to lug it out with the lease. I have about 20 payments left until I can turn it in. I love the car and all but its just too small for me need something bigger.

Hey guys, I know I am reviving an OLD thread but this car is available again for lease takeover or for outright buyout. The payments are still $355 a month for 8 more payments or the buyout is $13100 (I think!). Not looking to make money on it, just ready to get something else. Doesn't have to be sold but am ready to move on since the wife thinks it is not practical. Mileage is now at 44K (rolled over this morning on my way into work) and it is still in great, clean condition and runs perfectly. It is COMPLETELY STOCK since it was a leased vehicle.

Tires (Kumho Excta EXT (sp?)) were just checked at 5/16 tread left on the last oil change about 500 miles ago maybe.

Car has never been smoked in and the interior is in great shape, no stains in the carpet, just typical wrinkles in the front leather. The only thing wrong with it is the silver door handle areas have the silver paint flaking off which will be replaced for $30 before selling or turning into the dealer. I can probably count on one hand how many times someone sat in the back.

There are some scratches on the right front bottom of the air dam where in looks like it slightly rubbed a curb in a parking lot. It's on the bottom so not really visible, you don't notice unless looking for it. No door dings at all but there are a couple rock chips in the paint which are unavoidable in northern Ohio!

Is $13100 high for a very clean stock '05 SS?
