05 suzuki gsxr 600 fs/ft for supermoto street legal
Story of bike as far as I know. My sister loaned a friend money about 2 yrs ago and in trade he gave her the bike and title to hold. He never paid her the money back so a few months ago I bought it from her and fixed it up. It was sitting inside a garage since she got it. It had 12,1xx miles when parked 2 years ago so it was probably a daily driver.
Tank was completely rusted out so I got a new tank and the bike started right up. Oil was changed to Mobile 1 mx4t. Brakes were flushed and the front master cylinder was rebuilt. Bike was wrecked when I bought it but frame is clean with no damage. Rear subframe was replaced. Swing arm was straight but the top left brace was chewed up I think the chain broke on the previous owner so I got another one. I have brand new brake pads coming in the mail as I type.
Comes with a few spare parts as seen in pics. Stock besides muffler and TRE(timing retard eliminator), flush mount blinkers, and hot bodies undertail.
Reason for selling is I feel the bike is too fast for me. Would consider trading for a street legal supermoto.
Asking $4200 OBO
Has 12,767 miles
Bike can be test ridden with cash in hand for the full asking price but if u wreck bike it is yours.

I will be in live oak, fl on May 13-16 and can bring the bike with me if u want to look at it and are in my travel path straight up the turnpike.

damn saw this a little to late....obviously but Ive been looking around for a bike in this price range to purchase anytime from now through the spring of 2011 and if you come across any other good deals like this by any chance shoot a fellow cobalt friend a mes
