for sale, 2008 WRX with STI 6 speed transmission 16k obo

Rebuilt motor with forged piston. Currently has 4,000 miles on it. It was built and tuned by Jay Perry of the Subaru Shop in tiverton, ri and put down 280hp/320tq I can get a list of parts for the whole build if the buyer would like it.

Vf52 turbo from a 09 wrx running at 22psi

05 sti 6 speed transmission swap with reverse lockout. Has a 08 sti driveshaft back to the stock wrx rear axle. No dccd controller. Everything works great with no issues

Stage 4 6 puck comp clutch, it's a little grabby but I still daily drive it fine. Pedal feel is not to stiff
Also has spt boost gauge and depo oil pressure and a/f gauge. AEM intake, perrin top mount intercooler, forge bpv, invidia cat-less turbo back dual exhaust, walbro 255 pump, bc br coilovers and some extras I'm sure I'm missing.

It will come with the black rota rims and tires as well as stock 08 rims with snow tires.
This car is never beat on and probably the cleanest 08 you'll ever see. This is a great sleeper car and only needs injectors and a bigger turbo to make over 400hp. It's a great car for someone who wants to make big power as all the hard work is already done. I'm moving on to a new project so this car needs to go to make room

yeah, i had no compression in cyl 4 on the stock motor. i didn't really have a choice lol.. i rebuilt it the right way though so it's solid now. i should have changed beat on too no toyko drift style driving. of course i've gotten on the car, but i keep my cars clean and maintained.

With a simple 1500 turbo swap this thing could be a monster. STi tranny's are bulletproof

 

thanks, yeah the plan was to run it on the vf52 for a while and get used to it and then put a big turbo on it and make over 400hp. i may still do it if the car doesn't sell and just make it a weekend car. the car is still available and like i said i'm willing to ship it or travel depending on the final price.

 

I got a VF52 on my WRX. Its a decent turbo for stock i guess. I think a Blouch TD05-20G is awesome bang for your buck. or for this car, the 1.5XT

 

the vf52 is so much better with the 6 speed gears. even with the extra shifting i'm faster than other vf52 wrx's. but anything was an upgrade over the td04 that it came with. it'll be a real fun car if someone picks it up.

 

Im still on STock tune. so it doesn't even hit full boost til around 4500 RPM. I would think if it were actually tuned better it would be a machine

 

yeah get that thing tuned it'll feel much better. even in stock form a retune will do alot. i'd recommend my tuner, but we're a bit far from you.
