Saw this up for sale on CL. I've been out of this site for quite some time. Anyone have any insight to this one if I go to take a look at it or does it sound like a problem waiting to happen?

2009 turbo cobalt ss

Been looking for a LNF sedan but they seam to be few and far between. This one is in my neck of the woods.

It doesn't look like a bad deal. The trifecta tune could be causing excess blowby which is fouling the map sensor, but that's a guess. I'd get the compression tested. If that checks out and there are no obvious issues then go for it.

 

With those miles and not knowing how many owners beat on it I wouldn't buy it unless you had enough money set back for a new ldk motor. If you got it for 5 or less it wouldn't be a bad deal.

Well my wife decided on a different car. But anyone interested he did complete the comp tests yesterday. 2nd owner had it since 37k and he's a tech at GM.
