1999 30th Anniversary Trans Am under 20K miles
Time has come to let the baby go. The car came from Daytona. It is a 2 owner ride with under 20,000 miles since 1999 or about 1300 miles a year put on this PERFECT car. I will tell you all the bad so I can get that out of the way. There are 2 non-noticeable marks on the whale tail that have been professionally touched up, one pen head size cut from a rock in the feathers on the drivers side, and the coolant level light comes on until the car warms up (from lack of use not a leak or low level). Light goes out in under 5 minutes. Was never a big deal, but it could be replaced if that bothers you. If you stop after the car is warm, and restart it, the light stays off. The drivers side door panel has a small crack in it. Very common in these cars, I did not take the door panel apart to remove the staple deal that causes this issue as I did not want to dig into the car. That is it. Even the lower front air dam is super clean. Nothing else wrong with it. And the above mentioned is truly nit-picking the car.
The car is super original. It has a the CAGs skip shift eliminator. Outside of that the car has the GMMG Blackbird exhaust though it comes with the OEM in a box, and Optima Yellow top battery. Never beaten on, show stopper that makes the heart skip a beat. Even the Factory tires are on this car with no rot and a ton of tread. This car has been to the Trans Am Nationals 4 times, and has won 4 times. Winner at NOPI, World of Wheels, and almost every local event it has ever been to. Tons of respect. People cannot believe the car is 15 years old. Looks like it was bought new last week.
Hard to find with the Hurst 6 speed factory option (292 in the coupes), Full decal package only put on 6 licensed cars (You may see them with the writing, and Daytona decal, but only 6 came with Winston Cup, and the NASCAR decals on them) This was a press car that was shown by Pontiac to the public behind ropes. Car is number 1127 but has a DA number behind the gas lid that Pontiac only did with the 3 cars that paced the race and this car. Of the 4 DA cars 2 were coupes and 2 drop tops. So even though nearly 2000 of these cars were made, only 2 were made this way and 1 of 1 since the other DA coupe was an auto trans. Does not get more rare or collectable.
If you ever wanted a 'new' 1999 Trans Am, this would be it. If you don't want it but know of someone who might, pass the message along. 0 chance this type of deal will ever pass your way again with a 1 of 1 car like this with under 20,000 miles and true Pontiac history.
Asking $24,500 buy it now. Insurance values a normal 30TH TA with these options and miles at $33,000. You may find them with fewer miles, but I doubt you will find one in better overall shape. Feel free to send any questions to GPTDDT@aol.com

Thanks for the props lsjion. That is the show I am talking about! I also won 1st at S.T.A.R.S. (Southern Trans Am Regionals Show) and the F-body Gathering in Atlanta. But being in PA I hit up the Nats pretty often. Keeping a few other TAs but I have to let this one go.
Just a little food for thought. 1600 30th cars built total 1065 coupes, 65 going to Canada, 1000 USA coupes 535 drop tops with 35 going to Canada. 292 Coupes were optioned with the Hurst 6-Speed, Motorsports Design option of $440 for decals (unknown but fewer than 188 were thought to be sold).
Of the 1065 coupes 792 came with traction control, this car being optioned without! 517 have the 12 disk cd changer in the trunk. This car is the half without.
Going off of having the original Motorsports Design Decals 1 of 188 Hurst 6 speed 1 of 292, traction control delete 1 of 273 and no disk changer in the trunk alone brings the number built this way down real low, even without proof of GM using it as a display piece in any way. Before any other options are factored in it is roughly 1 of 188.
