2004 Ion Redline
Hello all,
Up for sale is my 2004 Saturn Ion Redline in electric blue color. This is a non-smoker, clean title, two-owner car with me being the second. I bought this car from New Hampshire because of its condition and drove it back to Michigan. The previous owner used it as his ‘Show car’ and it currently has right around 55,000 miles, which will slowly go up as I drive it. For those of you who don’t know these cars it is essentially a Cobalt SS (supercharged) minus a few changes here and there. The majority of the miles I have driven have been highway as I drove back and fourth multiple times to the west side of the state for school at Grand Valley State University.
I wash it multiple times a week pending how dirty it gets along with polish and wax a few times a month with a clay bar twice a year. I don’t beat on my cars but enjoy a little fun on an on-ramp every now and then. To prove this fact even more I average 29-31 MPG every tank with a mix of highway and city driving.
The car needs nothing. It has Continental DWS tires with about 50% or more tread left, pads and rotors have tons of life, and doesn’t leak or burn anything. Always used 93 octane and oil was changed every 3-5k with Mobil 1 full synthetic. I take great care of all my cars and this one is no exception, below is a small list of modifications and maintenance purchases I have done to it since I took over ownership.
-FE5 Cobalt SS struts and shocks (30k miles)
-Replaced heat exchanger pump with brand new one from ZZP (40k miles)
-Installed LNF shifter bracket (40k miles)
-K&N cold air intake (40k miles)
-OEM floor mats (40k miles)
-Wingless trunk with color matched M3 lip (40k miles)
-Buffed and detailed (40k miles)
-Powder coated stock wheels black (45k miles)
-Magnaflow muffler (45k miles)
-Replaced cabin air filter (50k miles)
-Bosch Icon windshield wipers (50k miles)
-Pioneer FH-X700BT with AUX/USB plug in (50k miles)
-Professionally painted and color matched side markers (55k miles)
-New strut mounts/top hats and strut seats (55k miles)
-New Canuck Motorsport lowering springs (55k miles)
*Exterior pictures are a little old and don’t show color-matched side markers

Yeah I've been watching yours just for fun hah, if I was keeping it I would have snatched up those retros on the Redline forums . Flicker is being a pain so the pictures wont show at the moment.

Thank you sir, really appreciate it. I may or may not, Looking into boosted S2000s at the moment. I agree though, a nice one is getting extremely hard to find, I may or may not have two lined up which are just that though if I cant find a S2000 within my price range

They are a tad smaller. Not sure on the size but the model number is up top in the listing, fits like a glove. Thanks!
Price drop and fresh oil change done.
