2005 Saturn Ion m62 supercharged CHEAP!
2005 Saturn Ion m62 supercharged CHEAP!
Hi there, I'm relisting my for sale ad, because mine had a craigslist link in the previous which is a no no. Anyways, trying to sell my car because I'm leaving for the Army for several years. I'm located in Minnesota about an hour north of the Twin Cities. It's a 2005 saturn ion 2, 4 door. 5 speed manual, with a sunroof! Body is rough, a few mismatch panels, and the roof comes with pretty good gash in it, but it comes with enough blue PPR paint to paint most if not all of the car. Also, it's got a bent driveshaft or cv or something, shakes when you give it gas in gear. Transmission doesn't go into 2nd gear, but an f23 out of a cobalt comes with it. The tune is funny on it right now, don't know exactly why, it just idles really high and idle hunts sometimes. I'm bouncing emails back and forth with Trifecta right now so hopefully that issue will be resolved in the next few days. Exhaust leak currently, probably from header to downpipe but haven't checked. Those are the major problems with it, it needs a little love!

It has FE5 struts, and lowering springs replaced less than a year ago, poly control arm bushings at the same time. Front strut tower brace.

Redline Recaro front seats, readline whitefaced 140mph gauge cluster, a lot of redline dash pieces and center counsel. Double gauge pod with boost and air/fuel with wideband sensor.

Engine is the stock 2.2 L61 ecotec that the car was equipped, atleast internally. It has been M62 supercharged on a 2.8'' pulley, comes with a 2.9'' as well. Both for the modular ZZP pulley hub so if you want to play with different tunes and pullies, it's ready to rock. It basically has the same set up as a Chevrolet Cobalt SS or a Saturn Ion Redline, but in a 4 door. 2.5 bar map sensor, oemotorsports redline coolant tank, cobra heat exchanger, lsj header, stainless zzp 2.5'' downpipe, LSJ catback.
The car comes with a lot of stock parts if the new owner would like it. Stock Springs, stock dash pieces, stock intake manifold, and a lot of the other miscellaneous items like receipts and stuff that I've acquired over the last 2+ years of owning it.
Basically the car runs funny, and really needs some work, which I have no problem giving it except for the fact that I'm leaving for the Army for 4 years come early May and have no need for it as I'll be in military school for atleast the next year and by then I'll be probably be looking at deploying out of the country or picking up a newer vehicle or something. I just don't want to store it and neglect it for that amount of time. I'm looking for $3,000 or the best reasonable offer I can get out of her. At that price I'd imagine you might be able to make some money if you returned it to stock and sold the blower stuff, or keep the blower stuff while breaking even and boost a cavalier, sunfire, hhr, cobalt, anything with an ecotec. If intersted, call/text Bob at 763 516 5185, message me on here, or shoot me an email at cheatingsolitaire@hotmail.com. I've got a few extra pictures of other things if you're intersted, or I can try and take a few if you want to see some things...
Thanks for looking guys!
