2006 Harley Sportster 883R, low mileage, cheap!!
Hey guys,
I've been trying to sell my Harley locally for awhile now, and with no luck. This bike needs absolutely nothing, but the market just blows right now. The pay-off on this bike is about 6,000, however we're looking to get rid of it for 5,000. I just don't use it, and it takes up space in the garage that we don't have.
I'm the original owner, and know it's maintenance schedule. It's had everything done, including all recommended Harley stuff. It's recently gotten a full-synthetic oil change as well as new plugs, etc when we did the jet-kit. It's Stage .5 which means it's got modified stock mufflers, a K&N drop-in air cleaner, and a jet kit. Basically the poor-man's Stage 1. The mufflers are a set of stockers that had the bafflings inside drilled out to a bigger size. The air cleaner can be run covered or open. It runs better open, but that's up to you. It's also gotten all smoked signals and tail lenses (not pictured) and they look awesome with all of the black..
The bike is an 883R, so that means it's a standard 883 but it adds dual-front brakes, track-bars, a track 2-up seat, a higher-overall seat position, and a whole lot of wrinkle black instead of all the chrome. I've also added the tach-kit from the 1200R, and some assorted stuff here and there.
The bike will not win any races against Vipers or anything, but it runs well for what it is. My friend has an R6, and he loves riding mine because it's so smooth and comfortable..
It's got approximately 3,000 miles on it since 2006. It's also got the factory HD alarm system installed. A flat-black full-face helmet will be included if you'd like.
If you'd like more pictures or information, please don't hesitate to post or PM me.
Again, pics are old and don't show the smoked lenses or anything..

I'm 6'1" and it's fine for me. The R has the tallest seat of any of them. The 883 is almost the same as the 1200 engine-wise, but the 1200 has a tiny bit better power in the high-band. You can do the 1200 conversion if you want for a few hundred bucks.. But if you want a more comfortable ride, you can always switch around the bars, controls, etc.. And with mine already having the basic mods, it's actually quite surprising.
And yes, you can haz. haha
