Are you spraying your car and talking horse power trash? I can spray a honda and make more power then that. My gas milage is good cause I know what I'm doing I'm not a kid bolting on junk and expecting all this horse power! That is the most retarded thing ever.

yeah i see a whole lot wrog with this thread.... first off my 2006 G85 fully loaded (XM, onstar, sunroof) only blue books at just over 16 grand.... so unless you have gold in the trunk....

A c5 LS1 vette make 350+ hp, an LS2 vette is 405 hp.... **** even a LS1 GTO makes between 300-350 hp and they are tuned down from the vettes...

and also how is this a stage 5.....

The car has 23K on it and has more then just bolt on's. I'm not ripping anyone off I've spent the 5k in upgrades so you don't have to. The Ls1's made 350 at the crank that's what I was reffering to not the LS2's or LS6's. That's not what I was implying. My car does make slightly more horse power then an LS1 and wieghts hundreds of pounds less. I remmember when I was 19 and thought I new about engines.... Moral is it is what it is, I don't have to sugar coat. I spent the real money and had the car tuned more times then years most SS owners have been alive! No disrespect... I'm only asking 15.5K???????? I know it blue books for 16.8K???

Like you posted in your last post you said " I spent the real money and had the car tuned more times then years most SS owners have been alive! No disrespect" well no disrespect but i have probably bought over 100 cobalts in the last two and 1/2 years. I work in used car purchases at a large chevy dealer in so cal. we sell 150-200 cars per month. And to be completely frank with you the market for cobalts is near dead. I have seen balts come in 4-5k back of wholesale book. yes your car has a retail blue book of around 16k depending on the area. but wholesale book is less than 12000. and like i said they are coming in at 4-5k back of wholesale book.... so at most at a dealer we would offer you around 8-9. now down to business I am not here to insult you or say your price is outrageous, but i do have a client whom is interested in a modified cobalt in sunburst orange with less than 30,000 miles but my client is not willing to buy it for more than wholesale value. obviously they would like to see it but being that you are where you are and they are in in cali that may be a bit difficult none the less they are interested in you car. how close to wholesale can you come? I also own a 2006 2.2 balt so I also feel the pain of the weaking u.s. auto market. mine is worth 11,340 RETAIL like 6-8 trade in lol.

first off i like how you think you know my age (and i am older by the way)... and you seem like the one who is talking out of your ass....
1) WE HAVE CORVETTES I KNOW ALL ABOUT POWER ON THE VETTES!
2)I HAVE WORKED WITH GTOS BEFORE... WITH THE LS1, they make more power then you!
3)YOU OBVIOUSLY DONT KNOW ABOUT HP OR CAR PRICES!
4)YOU HAVE YET TO SHOW ME HOW ITS A STAGE 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i want to see your blue book.... past a link to it... cuz mine isnt even worth that and i have all the options and only 6-7k miles on it.... so i dont know how yours is....

or and your not the only one with internals done... (i have internals too... not just bolt ons)

I would rather have a vette then a balt. and there is no comparing the two.....

If he wants the car and the tittle he'll pay 15,500 the car is worth it!

hahaha assuming he still is in the 19,xxx range which chances are he is not his car blue books at 16,100 in perfect shape (aftermarket parts take away form price) and this is suggested retailprice... which is what a dealership would normally post as asking price.... and then let you talk them down from.....

here is the link!
http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/Pric...%7C5776%7Ctrue

and selling it privatly which he is doing..... its only $14,000! again in perfect shape...

You mean like mine for sell? I'm asking 14k for mine and it has 9,200 miles on it. It has GM stage II, GM Touring Performance Exhaust, B&M short throw shifter, ZZP 3" down pipe with high flow cat, GMP exhaust performance manifold, Stage III Exedy Clutch and flywheel (1,200 dollar mod alone) Mine is garage kept, washed once a week and never seen snow or bad weather.
