For Sale 2007 Cobalt SS / SC Supercharged, 59k Miles, ORIGINAL OWNER, Plastidipped - $9000
Let me teach you something about selling cars - people dont want to buy a car. They want to buy a story. Do you actually think anyone cares if it hit a guard rail or got side swiped? No, all that matters is how the car drives - if its flawless then its a sale. Doesn't matter if I was the original owner or I say I'm selling the car for my disabled grandfather that lost his ability to drive. I know there are a lot of ignorant kids on this forum and this is probably the only car they own, so they wont understand this.

ESPECIALLY with a Salvage/Rebuilt title, car isnt worth a god damn thing. No matter how the car drives!!!! To the buyer, you are right to an extent, they dont care how the damage was done but its there. We care about the damage because we dont have any interest in the car, we dont like liars plain and simple.
Ahhh man. You all are making me feel dumb for owning a salvage SS. I even got mine from up near cleveland (brunswick). I got it for $3600 with 86k on the body and 26k on the motor. No problems so far. I even had plans on plastidipping it, except white, not shitty ass primer black. I had mine on craigslist and it was flagged, it was probably one of you *********...
I sell cars for a living. People love to hear a story about a specialty car. So you bullshit blah blah blah blah blah. They dont care they just want to be amused. Then the ONE question that everyone cares about, doesnt matter how serious they always ask, does it have a "clean" carfax. They dont care about the how exactly the car was damaged, doesnt matter if you cracked a damn headlight. People dont want to be a car with an accident, anything with a major accident on the carfax drops 20% in value depending on the cost of the vehicle.

lol how much money you make is beyond the point, also everything has a market somewhere. its one thing to buy the cars for pennies on the dollar and sell them for cheap. but if the car looks like **** was wrecked (owner has varying stories on how) and its expensive... thats utter insanity. still someone somewhere may buy it without knowing any better
