2009 Cobalt SS
Located in Schaumburg less than a mile from Woodfield Mall. I bought it new end of Oct 2008 with 150 miles. It's completely stock, never got around to modding it aside from from visual things. 78,0xx miles, it will go up since it's my DD. I usually get 30+ on highway around low 20s city driving. Clean title.
Other than that I haven't had any problems with it. I change the oil every 5-7k miles. Whenever the oil monitor gets to around 15-20%. I use 5 qts Mobil1 Synthetic since that's what's on the cap, and an OEM filter from the dealer. (AC Delco). Brakes were changed last summer.. The first winter I had the car, the ABS went out because I had too much snow in the wheel wells but it was replaced under warranty. Don't think I had any other warranty issues.
As far as what comes on the car, it's basically stock so:
Moonroof
LSD
Reconfigurable Performance Display
Front Brembos
260 HP/TQ LNF Engine
5 sp manual trans (F35 I believe)
No Lift Shift
Launch control
GM All weather mats for the front.
GM Performance Pedals.
Ghost lights on doors.
Aluminum door sills
Good:
Always been reliable for me. Never stranded
Great MPGs
Huge Trunk -It's bigger than some sedans.
Easy to mod if you want (Tune will add 50 hp, 80 tq)
Oil Changed at the beginning of the week.
Spark Plugs changed less than 5000 miles ago
K&N Air Filter recently cleaned
No rattling as far as I can tell.
It's a tank in the winter.
No rust as far as I know
Bad:
--Needs a new passenger seat belt. Old one got jammed, no idea when/ how. Rarely ever have passengers.
5 year old car, has a couple scratches here and there. Couple on rear bumper, and a couple on the right quarter panel. Will show in pictures.
