For Sale 2009 Cobalt SS Coupe
2009 Cobalt SS Coupe
For sale is my 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS. I don't need to sell it so don't even bother low-balling me. I will not give it away. I am only selling it because I wouldn't mind freeing up some money for other some things. This car is NOT salvage and hasn't been wrecked at all. The title is in hand. I bought the car 100% stock and I have tastefully modified some things cosmetically and performance wise but nothing has ruined the way the car drives (I don't do anything unless it is done right) and could all easily be put back to stock if so desired and you'd never know it was ever modified. Modifications are as follows:
3 Bar Map Sensors with P&P Harnesses (stock connectors NOT cut)
Phenolic Spacers - Intake and Throttle Body
K&N SRI Cold Air Intake
TurboXS Intercooler
Trifecta 23 PSI Tune
TurboXS Catless 3" Down Pipe
TurboXS FL 3" Cat-Back Exhaust (Excellent deep sounding exhaust with ZERO drone)
I have never tracked or dynoed the car but I estimate it puts about 300-315whp. It'll keep up with a stock LS3 Corvette from a roll.
G5 Interior Trim and Black Radio & HVAC Controls (Much cleaner look that the stock silver trim)
2012 Corvette Centennial Edition Steering Wheel and Shift Boot (Suede and red stitching)
HHR SS Wheels
K-Sport Coil Overs (Adjusted properly, rides better than stock)
Powell Rear Sway-Bar
Powell Rotated Transmission Mount
It has the RPD and G85 options from the factory. All fluids have been changed at least once. It won't need anything other than oil changes and tire rotations for a while. The oil was changed with Mobil 1 every 3k miles since I've owned it. I replaced the clutch, flywheel, and clutch master cylinder with GM parts. The tires are 235/40/18 Nitto Invos and they're probably about half tread at this point. The front brakes were also recently replaced with new GM rotors and Brembo pads.
It does have some normal wear for a 57k miles vehicle. There are some rock chips in the front and there are 4 small dings in the left rear quarter panel (had to have all happened at once, they're in a row) and one in the passenger door. There are holes in the front bumper from a tag bracket, I took the bracket off because I can't stand how they look but I can put the bracket back on if desired. Most of the Cobalts I see for sale have front tag brackets (unfortunately).
If I get asking price, I will have the bumper repainted and the tag bracket holes filled in (unless you want the tag bracket) and I will have a dent guy remove the dings. Otherwise, we can negotiate the price to not include that.
Asking price is $14,500.
