2009 Cobalt SS Sedan

Name: Garrett Colvin

Location: Akron, OH

Contact: On here, Facebook. PM on either and I will be more than happy to give you my number to discuss anything.

PRICE DROP!!!
$10.5K

I am looking to sell my 2009 Cobalt SS Sedan. I bought it 5 years ago, bone stock with 63k miles on it. It currently sits around 95.4k miles and will stay very near that number as it is not my daily. I still enjoy the car, so I do drive it occasionally, but not too often. As it sits, my starting price is $12k, but I am very open to negotiations. I am aware my price is steep, but I have my reasons. First, I don’t need to sell it and therefore am not looking to unload it quickly to the first person to make an offer. I’m just ready to move onto something new when I do get it sold. Also, the car will go with everything I have for it, which I will list below. I’m fairly confident that I can get close to that total price if I parted the car out and sold it in stock form, it would just be much easier to sell as is. If you’re interested and you don’t like the price, please just reach out to me and we can discuss it and try to make a deal. Like I said, I don’t need to sell it, but I am motivated, so I am 100% willing to negotiate. Also, if someone leads me to a buyer, I will PayPal you $100 to make it worth your while, so everyone please share. Below is everything on the car, all the parts I have that belong to it, and everything I can think of that a buyer would want/need to know.Mods:
  • · ZFR 6758 (~10k miles, installed May 2015)
  • · Kevin Moyer (KMO43 from Cobaltss.net) tune, 28 psi, E47 (have another tune from Term2 on 93 octane)
  • · ZZP Charge Pipes
  • · ZZP Intercooler (Full size)
  • · ZZP Catless Downpipe
  • · K&N Intake
  • · MPX Catback with Resonator and Muffler
  • · 3 Bar Maps
  • · Powell V3 Air/Oil Separator
  • · Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator
  • · AIS (now ProMeth) Methanol Injection with AEM Controller. Current setup has a single 8gph nozzle in the lower charge pipe. Have a ton of other nozzles etc. that go with it as well.
  • · 4.45 LSD Trans built by Kelley Gibson
  • · KY Stage 3 Clutch
  • · ZZP Trans Mounts
  • · Stance Coilovers, Custom Valved (group buy from Cobaltss.net) with 8k front and 9k rear springs
  • · Powergrid Ajustable Sway Bar Endlinks
  • · Powell Control Arm Bushings (Leading and Trailing)
  • · Turbotech Racing Steering Rack Spacers
  • · TWM Short Throw Shifter
  • · AEM Wideband Gauge
  • · AEM Oil Pressure Gauge
  • · ZZP Double Pillar Pod
  • · Custom Cluster Bezel Pod
  • · 5x114.3 Hubs with ARP Extended Studs
  • · 18x8.5 +30 Enkei PF01s with 225/40 Michelin Pilot Super Sports
  • · Retros built by Rolando Bustamante. Red Halos, Morimoto Projectors, Morimoto 35W 5000K HIDs
  • · Sedan High Rise Spoiler
  • · 20% Tint Side Windows and Rear Glass
  • · Painted Interior Trim
  • · MPX Shorty Antenna
  • · Black Badges
  • · Weathertech Liners (Front and Rear)
Stock Parts I Have:
  • · Turbo (may need rebuilt, if I put back to stock, I would look for a good K04 as a partial trade for the ZFR to ensure the car had a good turbo in it)
  • · Downpipe
  • · Intake
  • · Charge Pipes
  • · Intercooler
  • · Maps
  • · Trans Mounts
  • · Control Arms
  • · End Links
  • · Wheels
  • · Shifter
  • · Spoiler
  • · 4.05 LSD Trans (bought from a junkyard and was in the car for about a year before I got the 4.45. Perfect working order)
  • · Spare Tire and Jack (removed to save weight due to not fitting current bolt pattern)
  • · Passenger Headlight (Driver side broken while parked, which is what lead me to buy retros)
  • · Radiator
  • · Cluster Bezel
I listed everything I can think of including the obvious things like the badges and tint so that the buyer knows everything possible. I replaced the injector seals before being tuned on E47 so I’d never have to worry about the older ones being eaten by the ethanol. I moved the boost gauge over into the cluster bezel because I am slightly OCD and wanted the 2 AEM gauges together. Of all the things I have, I do not have the stock catback, stock springs, shocks, or struts, or the stock pillar pod. Also, the intake manifold is modified to block off the PCV port to accommodate the air/oil separator. All of these things would be stuff I would accept as partial trades if I end up putting the car back to stock. Now there are a couple things with issues. As the pictures show, the windshield is cracked. I will pay for a new windshield to be put in before it is sold. It got chipped which lead to a crack a couple years ago; I got it replaced and then the same thing happened again a few months later, so I’ve just left it alone. It has what sounds like an exhaust leak upon start up, but it gets much quieter after everything is warmed up fully. This spring I pulled the turbo thinking it was a leak in one of those gaskets, but it still exists after replacing the gasket from manifold to turbo, turbo to O2 housing, and O2 housing to downpipe. I also checked the turbo for play, leaks, etc. and everything checked out fine. That leads me to believe it is either the manifold gasket (never had the manifold off) or a small leak in the flex section of the downpipe. It is also something I am willing to fix before selling if it is a deal breaker. It doesn’t affect performance or drivability so I haven’t worried about it. The lenses on the retros have some slight fading. I think a good buff would clean them up well. Also the driver side halo doesn’t work. They are wired up to an auxiliary switch which I just now leave turned off so I don’t have just one on. Lastly, the passenger rear hub has a poor connection in the speed sensor. Oddly, it seems like every other time I drive the car (even within the same day) the ABS light will come on and turn the traction control off. The ABS still works just fine along with the traction control and ESC, so again it’s something I haven’t worried about. I believe that is everything, but if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Dash

Thank you! This was just after a quick wash too. It could really stand to get a good detail, but the SRTC really is beautiful when its clean.

Price dropped to $10.5k for the car as it sits. No stock parts with it though for that price.
